What this actually checks
What is AI readiness?
AI readiness is whether AI systems like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews can find your website, understand what you sell, and recommend you when someone asks. It overlaps with SEO but is not the same thing. A site can rank on Google and still be invisible to an AI agent.
What is llms.txt?
A plain-text file at the root of your site that tells AI models what your business is, what you offer, and which pages matter. Think of it as robots.txt for meaning rather than permission. It is an emerging standard, it takes minutes to publish, and almost no small business has one yet.
What is agents.json?
A file that describes what an AI agent can actually do on your site, such as book an appointment, request a quote, or start a conversation. As AI agents move from reading the web to acting on it, this is what lets them transact with you instead of only reading about you.

Does a good score guarantee AI traffic?
