AI Agents for Business

An agent with a written job

AI agents for business are software that run one defined job on a schedule or a trigger, write down what they did, and stop at a point where a person decides. I scope each agent in writing before I build it.

AI Agent Development

What I build for an operator

An agent is a small system with one job. The build has six parts, and each one is written down before the next starts.

Scope document

The job, the trigger, the inputs, the outputs and the stop condition, written in plain language you can check.

Workflow map

Every manual step the agent takes over, next to the step that stays with a person.

Build and test

I run the agent against real past cases, including the awkward ones, before it touches live work.

Approval points

The places where a person must say yes, such as a payment, a message to a client or a change to a record.

Readable activity log

Every run writes what it read, what it decided and what it did, in a log you can open without me.

Monitoring after handover

I watch the failure alerts and tell you in writing what broke, what I changed and what it cost you to wait.

Does an AI Agent Fit My Workflow

Demos that never ran a real job

Most owners who look at agents have seen a demo. It answered a made-up customer, filled a made-up form and looked convincing for two minutes. The demo never ran against the messy queue a business actually has, and nobody owned it once the sales call ended.

The question that matters is whether the agent can do its job unattended on a normal Tuesday, and whether someone can see what it did when it did not. A demo cannot answer either question. A scope and a log can.

What a Working Agent Needs

A named job, owner and log

Every agent I build has three things on day one: a single named job, a person on your side who owns its results, and a log that anyone on the team can read. If any of the three is missing, the agent is not ready to run, and I say so in the scope before the build starts.

Before and After a Workflow

What changes on a normal day

The table compares a typical manual workflow with the same workflow once an agent runs it. The human checkpoint stays in the last column on every row.

AI Agent Portfolio Las Vegas

Work I built, labeled for what it was

Each card says what the work was. GIOSTAR and WebVegas are websites with lead tracking, the Desert Inn Oasis and Mili Pharma work is brand identity, and Quotible is a social content system. None of the five is a standalone agent, so I do not present them as one.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking

I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

Work I Can Show for Agents

Where the closest client work stands

The closest documented client work is the GIOSTAR build in Henderson, a clinic website where each lead is tracked from the form to a booked consult with no manual steps. That is web and tracking work, not an agent I can show you.

The reviews on this page describe AI automation and consulting that clients hired me for. Chris M. wrote that "the guy actually knows his stuff when it comes to AI automation." I name a specific agent deployment only when a case file backs it.

How I Run My Own Agents

The same pattern at home

My own business runs agents of this kind on a scheduler. Each job does one defined task, writes what it did to a log, and holds anything that leaves the company for my approval. Email to people outside my company is drafted and waits until I send it.

WebVegas homepage, a website I built

Agent Scope and Guardrails

What the agent may touch

Every scope lists what the agent is allowed to read, what it is allowed to write, and the actions that wait for a person. The list is short on purpose. An agent that can do everything is the one that causes the expensive mistake.

An owner at work in a modern office
  • Which systems the agent may read
  • Which records it may write to
  • Actions that need a person to approve
  • The log every run writes
  • How the agent is paused in one step

How an Agent Build Runs

Five steps from scope to monitoring

The same five steps apply to a small intake agent and a larger operations agent. Each one ends with a document you keep.

  1. Step 01

    Scope

I do not start until the job, the trigger and the approval points are written and agreed.

  2. Step 02

    Build

I build the agent against the scope, with the log switched on from the first run.

  3. Step 03

    Test

I run real past cases through it and record each result, including the failures and the fixes.

  4. Step 04

    Hand over

You get the access, the log location, the pause control and a short written guide to the approvals.

  5. Step 05

    Monitor

I watch the alerts after handover and report each change in writing, with the reason for it.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Agent Cost Drivers

What the scope prices

I quote a fixed price for a written scope after a free look at the job, so you know the full cost before anything is built. Two agents that look alike can cost very different amounts once the systems they touch are counted. These are the things that move the scope.
