AI Lead Generation

Leads sourced by a system you read

AI lead generation finds businesses that match a written profile, checks each one against that profile and drafts a first message for a person to approve. I build the list rule and the sending limits before a single message goes out.

What the system does in order

A lead system is a chain of small steps. Each one has a rule, a limit and a point where a person decides. I build the chain in the order below.

Written list rule

The industry, the size, the area and the signals that make a business a fit, written down before any search runs.

Source and check

Each candidate is pulled from a named source and checked against the rule, with the reason it passed or failed.

Draft first message

The system drafts a short first message that names the specific reason for the contact. It is never sent unread.

Human approval

A person approves each message and each new contact before it leaves the company.

Sending limits

Daily caps, spacing between messages and a stop rule for bounces, so the sending domain stays in good standing.

Tracked outcome

Replies, meetings and bookings are tied back to the list rule, so the next rule change is based on evidence.

Why Automated Outreach Fails

Outreach that burned the domain

Owners who try automated outreach often start with a large list and a fast schedule. The messages look generic, the replies are few, and the sending domain starts landing in spam folders. A domain that has been burned takes months to repair, and the email the business needs for its real work is caught in the damage.

The fix is slower and more specific. A narrow list, a message that names a real reason, and a daily limit that a person chose on purpose. Speed is the wrong thing to optimize for in outreach.

The Guardrails Before Sending

Limits set before the first message

Before the first message is sent, the scope fixes the daily limit, the spacing, the opt-out wording and the sender identity. Each contact keeps its source and its reason on file. Anyone who asks to stop is removed from every list the same day.

Compliance and Reputation Guardrail

What the list may and may not hold

Rules for outreach depend on the channel, the recipient and the place a message is sent. I state the marketing rules that affect the build in the scope, and I say plainly that the legal check belongs to your counsel. No page or message from me is described as compliant on its own.

An owner at work in a modern office
  • Only contacts with a stated reason on file
  • Opt-out wording on every outbound message
  • Removal from all lists within the same day
  • No purchased lists without a source record
  • Sender identity that matches the real business

Lead Sourcing Tools

Tools chosen after the rule

I pick the tools after the list rule is written, so the software serves the rule and not the other way around. These pages cover adjacent work.

Where Leads Come From

Three sources I will name

A lead system can draw from a directory search, a referral list the client already owns, or the website forms that already bring in inquiries. Each source has a different reason for contact, and the message changes with it. I name the source in the scope and never blend lists into one unlabeled pile.

Work I built, labeled for what it was

Each card says what the work was. GIOSTAR tracks each website lead from form to booked consult, which is the measurement side of a lead system. The other four are brand and social work, and none of them is an outbound lead campaign.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking

I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

What a Lead Sample Shows

Each candidate with its reason

Before any campaign runs, I pull a sample of twenty to forty candidates from the sources the rule names. Each row records the business name, the area, the signal that matched the rule and the one reason it passed or failed. You read the rows, mark the ones that do not belong and tell me why. Those marks change the rule in writing, and the next sample shows whether the change worked.

The sample also shows the first message before anything is sent. Each candidate gets one message that names a specific reason for contact, such as a public review that mentions slow replies or a listing with no booking link. A message that could be sent to any business on the list is rewritten or dropped. That check is what keeps outreach from reading like a mass mailing.

How a Lead Build Runs

Five steps from rule to review

Each lead build follows the same order, and each step ends with a document you keep.

  1. Step 01

    Rule

I write the list rule with you: industry, size, area and the signal that makes a fit.

  2. Step 02

    Sample

I pull a small sample and show you each candidate, the reason it passed and the ones it rejected.

  3. Step 03

    Message

I write the first message and two follow-ups, and you approve the wording before any send.

  4. Step 04

    Send

The first sends go out at the capped rate, and I watch bounces and replies daily for the first week.

  5. Step 05

    Review

I report what the rule produced, change it in writing and keep the removal log current.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

AI Lead Generation Cost Drivers

What the scope prices

I quote a fixed price for a written scope after a free look at the list rule, so the cost is set before any source is searched. The size of the list is only one driver. These are the things that move the scope.

  • How many sources the list draws from
