Why Florist Ad Spend Goes Untraced

Ad spend with no line to the order

Ask a flower shop owner what the ads cost last month and the answer comes fast. Ask what the ads brought in and the answer slows down. Most shops see a dashboard full of clicks and impressions, and no one has connected those clicks to a bouquet order, a delivery request or a wedding inquiry.

Ad spend without that line is hard to defend. It is also hard to cut, because the owner cannot tell which campaign to keep. I start every florist campaign by making the orders visible, so the next budget decision rests on a count rather than a feeling.

Florist Advertising Services

The ads I run for flower shops

Each campaign is built around one buying moment: a holiday, a wedding date, a sympathy need or a standing order. Four parts make up the work, and each one can be checked in an account the shop owns.

Florist Advertising Ideas

Campaigns that fit a flower shop

A florist's ads work best when each one names a specific need and a specific deadline. These five ideas fit most shops, and each one can be tested against orders before the budget grows.

An owner at work in a modern office
  • A delivery cutoff ad for same-day bouquets on a holiday
  • A wedding consultation ad aimed at people planning a date
  • A sympathy ad for the shop's same-day or next-day service
  • A standing-order offer for offices and restaurants
  • A delivery-zone ad that names the neighborhoods the shop reaches

Florist Advertising Examples

What a campaign looks like on paper

A typical plan for a Mother's Day push starts with a written calendar: the ad launch date, the cutoff for each delivery zone, and the day the ads stop. Each ad sends to a page that names the bouquet, the price range and the cutoff, and each order form records which ad it came from.

This is an example of the plan, not a result. Every campaign I run starts from the shop's own calendar and budget, and I will not show a figure from a campaign that I cannot tie to a shop I actually ran.

Florist Advertising Strategy

How the budget gets split

A shop's budget goes first to the buying moments that already produce orders. Search comes first for people who know what they want. Social comes next, for the browsing buyer who needs a reason to choose the shop.

I hold back the larger share of a new budget until the first two weeks of tracking show which ads send an order. Then I move money toward the ads that produce them and cut the rest, and the monthly readout says why each change was made.

Florist Advertising Template

Why I do not start from a template

A template campaign assumes every shop takes orders the same way. Some shops close every order by phone, and some take an online order with a delivery date. The ad that works for one can send a buyer to a dead end at the other. The plan has to fit the order desk the shop already runs.

How I would judge the options

A florist has three realistic routes for paid ads: boosting posts from the platform, hiring an agency, or working with one person who runs the campaigns and shows the results. The table compares them on the points that matter when you cannot read the ad account yourself.

Who sets the campaignThe owner, with the platform's defaultsA team you rarely meetMe, from the calendar to the readout

What moves the budget

I do not publish a budget or a number on this page. I quote a fixed price for the setup and the management after a look at the shop's orders, and the ad budget itself is the shop's own money, set by the shop. These are the things that move the cost of the work.

A storefront street in the Valley
  • How many campaigns the shop runs across the year
  • How many delivery zones the ads must name
  • Whether the order tracking needs new forms or pages first
  • How many platforms the campaigns run on
  • How deep the monthly readout goes

Have You Run Florist Ads

No florist campaign claimed

I have not run paid campaigns for a florist shop, and I do not claim one. The portfolio above shows the builds I have done, and each card says what the work was.

The process on this page is the one I use for every client. Tracking comes first, the budget moves only toward what produces orders, and the shop owns the accounts.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Florist Advertising Process

How a campaign runs, step by step

Every campaign runs the same five steps, and each one ends with something you can check.

  1. Step 01

    Map the orders

I trace how the shop takes orders today, by phone, form or checkout, and write down what each one records.

  2. Step 02

    Build the tracking

Forms, calls and checkouts are tied to the ad that produced them before any money is spent.

  3. Step 03

    Write the calendar

Launch dates, delivery cutoffs and stop dates for each buying moment go on one page the owner signs off.

  4. Step 04

    Launch and watch

Campaigns go live with a first check after two weeks, and I move budget toward the ads that send orders.

  5. Step 05

    Report and close

Each campaign ends with a written readout that says what worked, what did not and what the shop should do next time.

What an Ad Readout Shows

The one page I send each month

The readout is one page. It lists each campaign, the spend, the orders, delivery requests and inquiries each one produced, and the changes made during the month.

It also names what did not work. A campaign that spent money and sent no orders gets named, with the reason and the next step. You can compare each line against your own order records, and that comparison is the check that matters.
