Why a Florist Website Gets No Orders

A site that looks finished and reports nothing

Most flower shop websites look fine. The photos are fresh, the logo is clean and the shop has a page for every bouquet it sells. What the site rarely does is take an order cleanly or show the owner where the orders came from. A visitor who wants same-day delivery finds the cutoff time buried in a footer, or never finds it at all.

The site was built and handed over, and the owner cannot tell whether it works. Visits go up or down, and no one can connect a bouquet order to the page that started it. That gap is what I fix on every florist site I build.

Florist Website Design Services

What I build for a flower shop

Every shop site starts with the order path, then the pages that feed it. Five parts make up the build, and each part leaves a page or a form you can test yourself.

Florist Website Design Cost

What moves the price

I do not publish a number on this page. I quote a fixed price for a written scope after I look at the current site and the shop's order process, and these are the things that move it.

GIOSTAR brand hub, a system I built
  • How many occasion pages the shop needs
  • Whether the order flow runs on a store platform or a form
  • How much of the current site can be kept
  • How many delivery zones and ZIP codes the site must state
  • How much photo and copy work the shop can supply

How the options compare

A shop has three realistic ways to get a website: a template builder, an agency, or one designer who builds the site and shows the work. The table compares them on the points that decide whether the site keeps taking orders.
Template builderAgencyMe
Who builds the pagesThe owner, late at nightA team you rarely meetMe, from first call to launch

Delivery Zones and Cutoff Times

The rules a buyer checks before ordering

A buyer who has to call to learn whether a bouquet reaches a hotel will often go to the next shop. Delivery zones, cutoff times and holiday closures belong on the pages where the order happens, written the same way every time.

I list the ZIP codes the shop delivers to and the hour the order desk closes for same-day work. Holiday closures go on the homepage and the order page before the holiday, and the Google listing carries the same hours, so the site and the map never disagree.

Occasion Pages for Florists

One page for each reason to buy

A wedding buyer and a sympathy buyer are not searching the same way. The wedding buyer wants to see installations and asks about a consultation. The sympathy buyer wants the same-day option, a clear price range and a way to send a card. One page per occasion lets each of them land on the right answer.

Each occasion page names the work, the delivery area and the next step. The next step is an order form or an inquiry form, and each one is tracked, so the shop can see which occasion brings in the most business.

Florist Website Design Near Me

What a local buyer checks on the site

A buyer searching near me is usually on a phone with a deadline. The site has to load fast, show the address and the hours above the fold, and open the map directions with one tap. If the phone number is not a tap-to-call link, a buyer may leave before dialing.

I test each page on a phone before launch. The check covers the order button, the delivery zone text and the photos, which have to show the arrangement clearly at a small size.

Work I built, live where you can check it

Every build below is real and every link goes to the live work. Two of the five are full websites I built and still run. The other three are brand and content work, two of them for sites that are in build now, and each card says which.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking

I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

Have You Built a Florist Website

No florist site claimed

I have not built a website for a florist shop, and I do not claim one. The portfolio above shows the sites and brand work I have done, and each card says what the work was.

The process on this page is the one I use for every client. The pages are tracked, the readout is plain, and the shop owns the domain and every login.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

From what I've seen, Justin knows the AI automation space better than most people I've come across in Las Vegas. He's the kind of person who actually understands the technical side and can explain it without making you feel lost. Good guy, good reputation.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Florist Website Design Process

How a build runs, step by step

Every build runs the same five steps, and each step ends with something you can open and test.

  1. Step 01

    Grade the current site

I review the site, the Google listing and the orders the shop already takes, then send a written read before any contract.

  2. Step 02

Write the scope and the pages

Pages, delivery zones, forms and tracking sit on one written scope. The copy comes from the shop's own menu, order rules and photos.

  3. Step 03

    Design and build

I build the pages on a layout I can edit later, and you review real pages in a browser at each stage, not a draft in a file.

  4. Step 04

    Connect and test

Order forms, inquiry forms, phone links and checkout are tested end to end, including a test order on the phone.

  5. Step 05

    Launch and hand over

Old addresses redirect to the new site, the logins go to the owner, and the shop's team gets a short guide to editing its own pages.

Affordable Florist Website Design

What a fixed scope buys

Affordable is the wrong question for a flower shop with an order desk. A cheap site that loses orders at checkout costs more than a fixed scope that works. I quote the scope in writing, so the number agreed is the number paid, with no surprise charges for pages that were on the list.

A smaller scope is often the right answer. Some shops need three strong pages and a working order form before they need anything else.

Shopify Web Design for Flower Shops

When a store platform makes sense

A shop that sells bouquets online needs a checkout that handles delivery dates and cutoff times. A store platform can do that well. I build on Shopify when the order flow needs one, and I build a plain site with a form when a store platform would add cost without adding orders.

What the Monthly Readout Shows

The one page I send each month

The readout is one page. It lists each shop page and form, the orders, delivery requests and event inquiries each one produced that month, and the changes I made to improve them.

It also says what did not work. A page that drew visits and no orders gets named, with the fix next to it. You can check every line against your own order records.
