Shopify Web Design Las Vegas

A Store You Can Read

I do Shopify web design in Las Vegas myself, designing and fixing stores for Valley merchants. You stay the account owner, and I show you where buyers leave.

A Shopify store stacked with apps and no clear picture of sales

Shopify makes it quick to open a store. The cost of that speed shows up a year later. A merchant adds an app for reviews, another for upsells, a third for a pop-up, a fourth for shipping rates, and each one loads its own code on every page.

The store gets slower, the monthly app charges add up in a way nobody tallies, and when an app is uninstalled it sometimes leaves code behind in the theme.

The question I hear is a plain one. The owner can see total sales in the dashboard and cannot say which pages, ads or products produce them, or where buyers leave. Reports exist, but they are a screenful of numbers nobody has been taught to read, and the agency that set them up has gone quiet.

Shopify Store Handover Problems

The handover problem

There is a handover problem too. The store was built under the designer's staff account, the theme was customized by someone who left no notes, and the owner is afraid to change anything for fear of breaking the cart.

I work with Valley merchants in that position, and with new stores where the owner wants to avoid it.

One person for the theme, the apps and the reporting

I am Justin Harris. I have worked with Las Vegas businesses for fourteen years and I do the Shopify work myself. I will tell you now what my portfolio shows: it has no Shopify store in it.

What it has is full sites I built and run, tracking that follows a lead from first click to a booking, and a way of working I apply on any platform.

I would rather say that than invent a client.

On Shopify that way of working becomes three commitments. You own the store, which means you are the account owner and I work through a staff account you can remove. You can check it, which means sales are tracked from product view to cart to checkout to order, and I show you where buyers leave.

What I commit to on Shopify

You can change it, which means the theme is set up so your team edits products, banners and collections without code.

Work I built, live where you can check it

My portfolio shows no Shopify store, and I want you to know that before you read the cards. It shows two full websites I built and three brand and content projects, which is the evidence for how I scope, track and report.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Shopify Web Design

What I build on Shopify

Each piece below ends with something you can open and check.

Store design and theme work

A design for your buyer, built on a well-supported theme and edited with care so that it stays upgradable.

App-stack audit

I list every app, what it costs, what it loads and whether the theme could do the same job without it.

Speed work

I measure product and collection pages on a phone, trim images and scripts, and measure again.

Checkout and tracking

Analytics, ad pixels and order events connected so reports match your payout report.

Migration to or from Shopify

Products, customers and redirects moved with a written map. See my e-commerce page for the wider picture.

Shopify Web Design Las Vegas Process

How a store job runs

Each step leaves an artifact.

  1. Step 01

    Read the store

Theme, apps, payment setup and three months of order data.

  2. Step 02

    Agree the scope

Pages, features, apps and date on one page.

  3. Step 03

    Work on a duplicate theme

Changes happen on a copy of the live theme, so the store keeps selling.

  4. Step 04

    Test the full purchase

Orders with each payment method, a discount code and a shipping change.

  5. Step 05

    Publish and report

The new theme goes live at a quiet time, with the old one saved. Each month you get visits, orders and where buyers left.

Shopify Web Design Las Vegas Cost

What moves the price

How much does Shopify development cost? It depends on scope, and I quote a fixed price for a written scope after a look at the store.

An owner at work in a modern office
  • Custom design versus an existing theme reworked
  • Number of products, collections and variants
  • Apps that need configuring or replacing
  • Migration from another platform
  • Integrations with inventory, shipping or a CRM
  • Ongoing care after launch

Free Shopify Web Design Las Vegas

What I do for free, and what I do not

I do not build Shopify stores for free. What I do for free is look at the store you have, tell you how it loads on a phone and list the three changes I would make first. You get it in writing, usually the same day.

GIOSTAR brand hub, a system I built

Best Shopify Developer Las Vegas

How to choose one

Ask who is the account owner and whether you can remove the developer at any time. Ask for a list of apps and what each costs. Ask to see a store they built, live. Ask how they would show you where buyers leave.

These questions work whether you hire me or not. A developer who answers all four plainly is worth talking to.

A business owner reviewing work on a phone

Shopify Developer Company Las Vegas Fit

What the first week of a Shopify job looks like

The first thing I ask for is staff access to the store and read access to analytics. I do not need the owner login, and I do not want it. Within a few days I send back a one-page read: the theme and how heavily it was edited, the apps and what each costs, phone speed, and where orders come from.

That read tends to change the plan. Some owners discover three apps that do the same job and cancel two before I touch anything. Others find the theme is fine and the real gap is that nobody tracks where buyers leave. A few learn that the store is too small to justify a custom design and a lighter touch will do.

What Does a Shopify Developer Do First

What the read changes

If a bigger piece of work follows, it is scoped in writing with a date, and it goes through the process above. If not, you keep the read and I step away on good terms. I would rather you spend on the one change that moves things than on a rebuild that was never needed.
