Moving Company Website Design

A quote form that reports

Moving company website design should make the quote easy on a phone and show which page produced it. I design and build the site, connect the form to your booking system and show you the bookings each page brought in.

What a mover's website has to do

Get the quote in the first minute

Most people who look at a moving company's website are deciding whether to call, and they are doing it on a phone between other tasks. The site has to show the service area, the move types and a way to ask for a price without reading a long page first.

A handsome site that cannot tell you where the quote came from is a brochure. The job is a site that looks like the company you are, makes the next step obvious and records which page each request came from.

GIOSTAR homepage, a website I built

Quote forms that deliver

The form is the conversion

Short first screen

Name, phone, move date, origin and destination. Anything longer goes on the second step, after the customer has decided to ask.

Delivery tested

I submit the form from a phone and a laptop and confirm the message lands in the right inbox and in your booking system.

Source recorded

Each request carries the page and the search or ad that produced it, so the quote can be matched to a booking later.

Tap to call

The phone number is a tappable link on every page, and the calls are tracked to the page that produced them.

Quote calculators and price ranges

Ranges you can stand behind

A quote calculator can help a customer understand the shape of a move, but only if the ranges match how your crews actually price jobs. A calculator that shows a number your estimators would never give creates a second conversation that starts with a complaint.

If you want a calculator, I build one that shows a range, explains what moves it and ends in a request for a written estimate. If the ranges are not ready, the page asks for the move details and promises a call, which is a better first step than a wrong number.

A storefront street in the Valley

Mobile first for movers

Built for a phone in a parking lot

Many people who need a mover look up the company from a driveway, a parking lot or a kitchen full of boxes. I design each page at phone width first, so the phone number, the service areas and the quote button stay within reach.

I test each page on real phone sizes before launch: tap targets big enough to hit, text you can read without zooming, form fields that open the right keyboard and images sized to load on a cell signal. Desktop gets the full design, but it is not the only screen I check.

Reviews on a moving company site

Reviews shown as they were written

Reviews help a customer decide, and they only help if they are real and shown in full. I build a reviews section that pulls from the words customers actually wrote, with the reviewer's first name and last initial and the date. Nothing is edited to sound better.

A review that mentions a move that went badly is still worth keeping. Replies to those reviews, written in your own words, do more for trust than a page with only five-star quotes.

An owner at work in a modern office

Tracking a moving website to a booking

From the first visit to the move

Tracking is the part of a moving website that most owners never see. I connect each page to the requests it produces, and each request to the booking it became, so the monthly page reads in your numbers. The tracking runs in your own accounts, so you can check it without asking me.

Tracking is only as good as the consent and privacy setup behind it. I set the cookie banner and the analytics so they collect what is needed and nothing more, and I write down what is collected for your records.

GIOSTAR brand hub, a system I built

Template or custom build for movers

What you should expect either way

A template can be a reasonable start for a small mover with one service area and a simple quote form. A custom build makes sense when you run several move types, a long-distance route list or an office service that needs its own pages.

A business owner reviewing work on a phone
  • Your own domain, hosting and every login from day one
  • A quote form that delivers and is tested on a phone
  • Pages for each move type you actually run
  • Redirects from the old site so search history carries over
  • Edits your team can make without a ticket
  • A written scope that names the pages before any work starts

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Moving website cost

What moves the price

I quote a fixed price for a written scope after I have looked at your current site and your quote path. A single-page site with one form is a different job from a site with route pages, a booking calendar and an office-move section, and a price list would be wrong for both.

GIOSTAR homepage, a website I built
  • How many unique page designs the site needs
  • The number of move types and route pages
  • Booking calendar and crew scheduling connections
  • Who writes the copy and supplies photos of the trucks and crews
  • Moving an existing site without losing its search history

Closest work and what it was not

Adjacent work, stated plainly

I have not built a website for a moving company, so I do not claim one. The closest work I have is WebVegas, my own Las Vegas web design site with a four-step booking form that hands each lead a free design walkthrough, and GIOSTAR, a Henderson clinic site with online booking and lead tracking.

Neither is a mover. Both show the form, the mobile pages and the tracking I would bring to your quote path.
