Dental Website Design

A Dental Site That Books Patients

Dental website design for practices that want the site to book new patients, not just look clean. I write the pages, build the forms and connect the tracking myself, and I show you which visit came from which page.

What a Dental Website Has to Do

The site is the new patient desk

Most new patients check a dental practice online before they call. They look at the services, the team, the hours and the insurance notes, often on a phone between other things. The site is the first thing they judge, and for many practices it is the only part of marketing that is open at night.

So a dental website has one job that matters more than its look: move a visitor to the next step. For a general practice that is a call or a booking request. For a cosmetic or implant practice it is a consult request. If the next step is hard to find, the design is not doing its job, however good it looks.

Why Dental Sites Go Quiet

Pretty sites with no visible result

The usual failure is not an ugly site. It is a handsome template with a Book Now button that opens a generic form, a phone number buried in the footer and no way to tell which page produced the call. The owner pays, the site goes live, and nobody can say whether one new patient came from it.

That is the fear I hear most from dental owners: a site that looks finished and reports nothing. Design is half of the job. The other half is making every form, call and booking traceable to the page that produced it.

Dental Website Design Process

Five steps, each one open to check

Every project runs these five steps, and each one ends with something you can open and check.

1. Map the patient path

I list the visits that matter, such as a new patient booking, a consult request and a call, and the page each one should start from.

2. Write the pages

Service, team, new patient and location pages written around how patients choose a practice, with the copy approved by you before the layout is final.

3. Build and test the forms

Each form is submitted from a phone and a laptop, and I confirm the message reaches the inbox or booking tool you use.

4. Connect the tracking

Calls, form submits and bookings are tied to the page and search that produced them, so you can read the result in plain terms.

5. Hand over the keys

You get the domain, the hosting or its transfer, every login, and a short guide to the edits your team can make without me.

Dental Website Design Template or Custom

What a template leaves out

A template is a fast start, and some practices do well on one. Its gaps are usually the booking step, the new patient forms and the tracking, which are bolted on, and the vendor often keeps the account you may need to leave with.

Dental Office Website Pages

The pages a patient looks for

A dental site is a small set of pages, each with one job. These are the six I build for most practices.

  1. Step 01

    General and family dentistry

The services a family searches for first, written in plain language with the next step on the same screen.

  2. Step 02

    Cosmetic and implant pages

Separate pages for procedures that need a consult, so each one can be tracked and promoted on its own.

  3. Step 03

    New patient page

What to bring, what happens at the first visit and a short form that starts the booking.

  4. Step 04

    Team and doctor bios

Credentials and photos for each clinician, confirmed by the practice against its own records before publishing.

  5. Step 05

    Location and hours

Address, parking, hours and a map link on every page, with a tap-to-call number that works on a phone.

  6. Step 06

    Reviews and proof

Reviews the practice has permission to show, placed beside the booking step rather than on a page nobody opens.

Mobile Dental Website Design

Built for the phone first

Patients look up a dentist on a phone, often in a parking lot or with a child in the back seat. I design each page at phone width first, so the phone number, the address and the booking button stay within a thumb's reach.

I test on real phone sizes before launch: tap targets big enough to hit, text that reads without zooming, form fields that bring up the right keyboard, and images sized to load on a weak signal. Desktop still gets the full design. It is just not the only screen I check.

GIOSTAR homepage, a website I built

Dental Website Photos and Galleries

Show the work without a promise

A gallery is among the strongest parts of a dental site and one of the easiest to get wrong. Before-and-after photos, smile galleries and staff images raise consent, privacy and platform questions. Those belong to your practice and its counsel, not to a designer guessing.

I build the gallery so each case can be removed in one edit, every caption describes the photo rather than a result, and no image goes live until the practice confirms it has the right to show it. Ad platforms review health claims on their own rules, so the gallery and any ads should be checked together.

Dental Website Lead Tracking

From the form to the booked visit

Tracking only matters if it reaches the booked visit. On GIOSTAR, a Henderson clinic site I built and run, a website lead is followed from the form to a booked consult to an active patient with no manual steps. A dental office needs the same chain: the form, the call, the booking and the first visit, each tied to the page that started it.

What I hand over is a plain readout you can check against your own schedule, not a dashboard of traffic that never reaches the chair.

The Closest Dental Work I Have

What it was not

The closest work I have is GIOSTAR, a Henderson regenerative medicine clinic, and the WebVegas booking funnel. GIOSTAR is a medical practice, not a dental practice, and none of the five builds in my portfolio is a dental office. I say that plainly so you can judge the fit before you call.

What carries over to a dentist is the chain of booking and tracking, not the clinical content. Your clinical pages and patient language should come from your own practice, not from another clinic's.

Dental Website Portfolio

Builds I made, live where you can check

Every build below is real and every link goes to the live work. Two of the five are full websites I built and still run. The other three are brand and content work, two of them for sites that are in build now, and each card says which.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking

I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Dental Website Designer Near Me

Nearby helps, but the test is tracking

I work from Las Vegas and build for practices across the country. Being nearby helps for an in-person meeting, but the real test of a dental website designer is whether they can show you the tracking, not how far away they sit.

Ask to see a site they built, the forms it sends and the readout it produces. A good designer can show all three in one sitting, on a call.

How Much Dental Website Design Costs

Cost follows the scope

I quote a fixed price for a written scope after I have looked at what the practice needs, so the number you agree to is the number you pay. A five-page site for one doctor and a booking-led site for a multi-doctor office are different jobs, so a price list would be wrong for both. These are the factors that move the price:

GIOSTAR homepage, a website I built
  • How many unique page designs the site needs
  • Who writes the copy and who supplies the photos
  • Whether booking or intake forms connect to other software
  • How many doctors and locations the site represents

Dental Website Timeline

Set in the scope, not guessed

The timeline goes into the written scope before work starts. It depends most on how fast the photos, team bios and approvals arrive, and on how many pages the practice needs. If the scope changes, the date changes on the same page so you can see why.
