Ads You Can Trace to Patients

Dental advertising for practices that want every ad dollar traced to a booked new patient. I set up the campaigns, the call and form tracking and a readout you can check, and I keep general dentistry and procedure ads apart.

What Dental Advertising Has to Pay For

A new patient, not a click

The event that matters in dental advertising is the first visit. A click, an impression or a call that never books is not a result. Practices run two different kinds of offer: general cleanings and exams that bring in families, and procedures that need a consult and carry more value and more questions.

Each offer should be judged against the booked visit it actually produces, not against the cost of a click.

Why Dental Ad Spend Goes Untraced

Spend that reaches no chair

Many practices pay for reports of clicks and cost per lead, and no one can say which campaign filled the schedule. Calls from ads land on a front desk that does not log the source. Forms go to an inbox with no source attached. The owner sees a bill and no list of booked patients to match it against.

Dental Practice Advertising Channels

Each channel is a different buyer moment

The table shows which channel I would start with and what I would measure on it.

Procedure and General Dentistry Campaigns

Keep the offers apart

A cleaning offer and an implant consult should never share an ad group, a landing page or a report line. Procedure ads usually lead to a consult with higher stakes and more questions, while general dentistry ads usually lead to a booking request. Mixed together, the numbers look average and the owner cannot see which offer pays back its spend.

Dental Ads and Platform Rules

Marketing limits, not legal advice

Google and Meta review health and medical ads against their own policies, and those policies change. Claims about results, before-and-after images and certain procedure language can get an ad limited or disapproved. I check the current policy when a campaign is built.

Whether an ad or landing page is compliant for your practice is a question for your counsel, and I will not tell you it is. I write offers without promise language so the review is less likely to stop the ad.

GIOSTAR brand hub, a system I built

Dental Advertising Budget

Set the budget by the booked visit

I set the budget from the number of booked visits you want from each offer and what a booked visit is worth to the practice, not from a flat share of revenue. The plan starts small on one or two offers, read the calls and forms for a few weeks, then move money to what fills the schedule.

Tracking Dental Ads to the Chair

From the click to the booked patient

Every click is tied to a landing page, every call is tagged with its source, and every form is matched to the booking that followed. The front desk enters the final event, the booked visit, so the chain ends at a patient on the schedule.

On GIOSTAR, a Henderson clinic site I built and run, a website lead is followed from the form to a booked consult to an active patient with no manual steps. Dental ads need the same chain.

GIOSTAR homepage, a website I built

Dental Ad Landing Pages

Built to book, not to impress

Each ad sends the visitor to a page that matches the ad, with the booking step visible without scrolling.

One offer per page

A landing page for each ad, with the offer and the booking step above the fold.

Call tracking on every page

A tracked number for each source, so the front desk can log where a caller came from.

Form that reaches the schedule

The form sends to the inbox or booking tool the practice uses, and I test that it delivers.

Short forms

Only the fields needed to book, so the form does not stall at the last step.

Phone first

Most ad clicks come from a phone, so each page is built and tested at phone width.

Reviews beside the booking step

Reviews the practice may show, placed where the decision is made.

The Closest Dental Ad Work I Have

The closest work, and what it was not

The closest work I have is the GIOSTAR tracking chain in Henderson, a regenerative medicine clinic where I built the website and run its lead tracking. It is a medical practice, not a dental practice.

None of the five builds in my portfolio is a dental practice or a dental ad account, so I claim no dental ad result. Read the fit that way before you decide.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking

I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Dental Ad Reporting

One readout in the practice's terms

The readout shows spend by offer, calls and forms by source, and booked new patients per offer, in the same terms as the schedule. Every number names where it comes from, so it can be checked against the practice-management system rather than taken on trust.

What Moves Dental Ad Costs

Spend follows the offers

The main drivers are how many offers run at once, how competitive the search terms are in your area, how many locations take calls, and how quickly the front desk logs each source. I set the budget after the tracking is live, so the first weeks are for learning which offer fills the schedule.
