Education Website Design
A School Site That Reports Inquiries
Education website design for schools and training programs, built with program pages, tour booking and a form that shows which visit became an inquiry. I make no promises about enrollment, only about what the site can measure.

Why School Websites Fail the Visit
A handsome site that reports nothing
Many school sites look fine. The photos are good, the colors match the brand and the page loads. The trouble shows up later, when the admissions team asks how many visitors booked a tour last term and nobody can answer. The site was built to look like a school, not to show what it did.
A parent on a phone wants the schedule, the cost in plain terms, the next date and a button that books a visit. When those are buried under a slider or a gallery, the family leaves, and the inquiry never shows up in any report.

What a School Site Has to Do
Answer the questions, then book the visit
I design a school site around the questions a family asks before it calls: which programs run, when they start, what they cost in plain terms, what credential they lead to and how to visit. Each program gets its own page, so a parent looking for an evening course does not have to read about a daytime one first.

- A program page for each program, with the schedule and the next start date
- A tour booking form on every program page
- Plain-text costs, fees and refund terms, reviewed by the school
- A phone number and a request form on every page
- Accessibility built to a stated standard, with a written record
- Source tracking on every form, so each inquiry carries its origin
Program Pages and Tour Booking
One request path on every program
Each program page has one request path, a tour or a call, and the same path leads to the same inquiry record. A page with three buttons asks the family to choose, and most families choose to leave. I keep the request path simple and tracked.
The tour form asks only for what the admissions team needs to book the visit: the name, the program, the preferred date and a way to reach the family. The source of the visit is recorded in the background, so the team sees it on the booking without asking the family again.

Accessibility for School Websites
Built to a stated standard
Public schools and districts fall under the ADA's Title II rule, which the Department of Justice updated in 2024 to point to the WCAG 2.1 AA standard for state and local government web content. Private schools and training providers fall under Title III, where courts have treated websites as covered and WCAG 2.1 AA is the common target.
I build to WCAG 2.1 AA and test the main pages with a keyboard, a screen reader and a phone. Whether a site meets a legal deadline is the school's call and its counsel's call. I give the school a written list of what was tested and what was not.

The Education Website Build Path
How a school site gets built
| Stage | What the school approves | What I track |
|---|---|---|
| Scope | Programs, pages and the request path | Written scope and fixed price |
| Copy and photos | Program facts and campus images | Claims checked against sources |
| Design | Layout on phone and desktop | Review notes and revisions |
| Build and forms | Tour booking and inquiry forms | Source field on every form |
| Launch | Live pages and redirects | Baseline inquiry count |
Student Data on a School Website
Records stay out of trackers
Student records are protected under FERPA, and children under 13 are covered by COPPA. A school site should not send student information to a third-party tracker or an ad pixel, and a form that collects a child's details needs a parental consent path that the school's counsel has approved.
I set up tracking that counts visits and inquiries without sending personal details to outside tools, and I list every script on the site for the school to review before launch.

Closest Education Website Work I Have
A web design brand, not a school
I do not have a school website case to show you, and I will not claim one. The closest build is WebVegas, my own Las Vegas web design brand, which has a four-step booking form that hands each lead a free design walkthrough. It is a web design business, not a school. The same method applies to a school: a clear request path, tracked forms and a readout an administrator can check.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

He actually understands how AI automation works at a practical level, not just the theory. The kind of person who gives you a straight answer with kindness and patience

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

School Website Readout
The monthly site report
Every line can be checked against the inquiry log and the enrollment records. I report on tours booked and applications started, not on visitor counts alone.

- Visits to program pages, by program
- Tours booked and held, by source
- Applications started, by program
- Form errors and broken links found and fixed
- Accessibility items open and closed, with dates
- One recommendation for the next term, with the reason
Education Website Services
What I build for schools
Most schools start with a site rebuild, then add the tracking and the campaigns. Each card opens the full page for that service.

Scope, build, read, adjust
- Step 01
Scope the programs
I review the program list, the intake dates and the request path, then write the scope and the fixed price.
- Step 02
Build the tracking
The forms, the booking path and the source field are set up before launch, so every inquiry carries its origin.
- Step 03
Test on real devices
I check each page on phone sizes, with keyboard and screen reader passes, and list what was found.
- Step 04
Read the inquiries monthly
Each month I read the tours and applications that came through the site and send one plain readout.
What Moves an Education Website Quote
Scope, not a price list
I quote a fixed price for a written scope after I have looked at your programs, your pages and your inquiry path. A site with four program pages is a different job from a campus with a dozen programs, a parent portal and a payment step. These are the factors that move the number, so you can judge any quote, mine included.

- How many program pages and unique page designs the site needs
- Who writes the copy, and whether photography has to be produced
- Integrations with the student information system, a payment step or a booking tool
- Accessibility testing to a stated standard, with a written record
- Reporting depth, from a monthly readout to a full inquiry funnel

Who Does the Education Website Work
One person from design to readout
I am Justin Harris. I have built websites and run digital marketing for Las Vegas businesses for fourteen years, and I still do the work myself. When you hire me, you talk to the person who designs the pages, builds the forms and reads the inquiries. There is no hand-off to a junior team in the middle.
You own the domain, the hosting and every login, and your office staff can change a program date or swap a photo without calling me.
