Hotel Website Design

A hotel site you can check

Hotel website design is the work of a site that gets a guest from a search to a booking request without a dead end. I design and build it myself, and I show you which pages led to each request.

Work I built, live where you can check it

Every build below is real and every link goes to the live work. None of the five is a hotel. Two are full websites I built and still run, WebVegas and the GIOSTAR clinic site. The Desert Inn Oasis work is a brand for a Las Vegas event venue, and the other two are brand and content work.

I designed and built webvegas.io, a Las Vegas web design and SEO brand: the site, a four-step booking form that hands each lead a free design walkthrough, and the brand behind it.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

From what I've seen, Justin knows the AI automation space better than most people I've come across in Las Vegas. He's the kind of person who actually understands the technical side and can explain it without making you feel lost. Good guy, good reputation.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Hotel Website Design Services

What a hotel site has to do

A guest on a hotel site is usually comparing three things: the room, the location and the price of booking direct. A site that shows the room clearly, places the property on a map, and leads to a booking step in two taps earns the request. A site that hides the rooms behind a menu, or sends the guest to a third-party page to see availability, loses it.

Hotel Website Design Company

One person who designs and builds

The person who designs the room pages is the person who builds them and reads the monthly numbers. There is no handoff between a design firm and a developer, and no junior person changing pages you have approved.

I have worked in Las Vegas digital marketing for fourteen years and I do the work myself. You own the domain, the hosting and every login from the first day.

Hotel Website Design Cost

What moves the scope

I quote a fixed price for a written scope after I have seen the current site and the booking path. The number you agree to is the number you pay.

A business owner reviewing work on a phone
  • How many room types, suites and event spaces need their own design
  • Whether the booking engine is already in place or needs a handoff built
  • Whether group booking and event inquiry forms are part of the scope
  • How many photos are ready and how many need a shoot
  • Whether the site is rebuilt from scratch or redesigned with its pages kept

Best Hotel Website Design

What a good hotel site looks like

A good hotel site looks like the property. The photos are the property's own, the room descriptions use the words the hotel team uses, and the booking button is never hard to find. Design is the part a guest sees first, and the structure underneath is what makes the booking path work.

Hotel Website Design Process

How a build runs

Each step ends with something you can open in a browser. The launch date is written into the scope before work starts.

1. Look at the current site

I read the site, the booking path and the photos, and I write down what guests can and cannot do in three taps.

2. Agree the scope in writing

Pages, forms, the booking handoff and the timeline go on one page. Changes land there first.

3. Design and write the pages

I design the room, event and group pages and write the copy in the hotel's own words, and you review real pages in a browser.

4. Connect and test the booking path

I test the booking handoff, the group inquiry form and the phone number on a real phone before anything goes live.

5. Launch and report

The site goes live with redirects in place, and each month you get a note on which pages drew requests.

Room and Event Pages

The pages a guest reads before booking

Each room type gets a page with its own photos, its size, its bed setup and its amenities, written so a guest can tell it apart from the next room. Rates change often, so the page links to the booking engine for availability rather than printing a price that goes stale. Event and meeting spaces get their own pages with capacity, layout and the booking route for a planner.

Group booking needs its own form. It asks for the dates, the number of rooms, the event type and the planner's contact, so a request arrives with enough detail to answer in one reply.

Booking Engine Handoff

Where the guest leaves the site

The booking engine is a separate system, and the site has to hand off to it cleanly. I check that the button goes to the right property and dates, that the page does not lose the guest's dates on the way, and that the return path works on a phone. If the engine cannot pass the source of a booking, the report says so before launch.

I do not control the engine's fees or its rules, and I say so in the scope when a choice depends on the vendor.

Accessible Hotel Websites

Access for every guest

Accessible room details matter for guests who need them, and a site should state them in text: step-free access, roll-in showers, visual alarms and the rooms that have them. I check the site against common accessibility standards, including keyboard use, contrast and alt text. Whether the property meets its legal duties is a question for its counsel and its operations team. My part is that the site states the facts accurately and that the pages work for everyone.

Hotel Website Design Mobile

Built for the phone first

Most guests look at a hotel on a phone, often while standing in a lobby or waiting in a car. I design the mobile layout first, with the booking button in view, the map one tap away and the room photos loading quickly on a weak signal. The desktop layout follows from the phone layout, not the other way round.

Hotel Website Care

Updates after launch

A hotel changes its offers through the year: a holiday package, a new event space, a renovated suite. A care plan covers those updates, so the site does not go stale between seasons. You get a written list of what changed, and you keep the domain, the hosting and the logins the whole time.

  1. Step 01

    Website design for small businesses

A site sized to the business, with the pages a buyer needs to trust you and contact you.

  2. Step 02

    Website redesign

I audit the current site first, keep what works and rebuild the rest without losing search history.

  3. Step 03

    Website maintenance

Updates, checks and a monthly note on what changed on the site.
