Wedding Venue Advertising

Campaigns that fill the calendar

Wedding venue advertising earns its budget when every ad leads to a tour request and every tour can be traced to the campaign that sent it. I run peak-season date campaigns and elopement package campaigns, and I show the owner which ones booked a signed date.

Paying for Wedding Venue Leads

Ads with no line to a signed date

A venue that runs paid ads usually sees the inquiry count rise while the booking count stays flat. The ad platform reports clicks and form fills. It cannot see the couple who toured on Tuesday and signed with a rival venue on Friday.

That gap is what makes ad spend hard to defend in a budget meeting. The owner pays for attention and cannot say which of that attention became a date.

Peak Season Date Campaigns

Campaigns built around open dates

A venue's peak weekends fill early, and the campaigns should follow the calendar, not the other way round. I start with the dates that still have room, then build ads for the couples who search for those months and that style of venue.

Campaigns pause or change when a date is held or signed. A booked Saturday should not keep spending on the same ad.

Elopement Package Campaigns

Smaller ceremonies, separate ads

Couples planning a small ceremony search for different words than couples planning a full wedding. Each package needs its own ad group, page and budget, so the readout can say which package sold through which ad.

Elopement searches

Couples planning a small ceremony search for their own words. Those searches get a separate ad group, page and budget.

Package-specific pages

Each package has a page that lists what is included, the guest count it suits and how to request a tour. The ad sends the couple to the package they searched for.

Date-specific offers

Offers for weekday or off-season dates are written as dates, not discounts, and each one runs as its own campaign so its results stay visible.

Tour request tracking

Each tour request from an elopement ad is tagged, so the readout shows which package sold through which ad.

Call tracking by campaign

Calls from each ad reach a tracked number, and the call log records the package and date the couple asked about.

Negative keyword control

Searches for free venues, rentals for other events and unrelated vendors are excluded, so the budget is not spent on them.

How a Date Campaign Runs

From first ad to signed date

Every date campaign follows the same five steps, and each step ends with something the owner can open and check.

  1. Step 01

    Map the open dates

I list the open dates for the next season and the packages that fit each date window, then agree the list with the owner in writing.

  2. Step 02

    Build the ad groups

Each date window and package gets its own ad group, so the readout can name the campaign behind every tour.

  3. Step 03

    Launch with tracking on

Tour request forms, call tracking and the calendar link are tested before the first ad runs.

  4. Step 04

    Pause when a date signs

A booked date stops its ad the week it is signed, and the freed budget moves to the dates still open.

  5. Step 05

    Read the monthly readout

Each month shows tours booked, dates held and signed, and the ad that sent each couple.

Wedding Venue Ad Targeting

Who the ad reaches

Targeting follows the searches couples make and the places they make them. Couples searching for a season, a weekday window or a style of ceremony can be reached on search, and couples still planning can be reached on social platforms that show local ads.

Ads do not target a named couple, a guest list or a private event. The venue's date calendar stays private, and the ads only mention dates the venue has agreed to sell.

Wedding Venue Ad Creative

Photos that match the venue

The first frame of a venue ad should show the room a couple will stand in. A stock photo of a generic ballroom tells the couple nothing about the room they could book, and the tour rarely follows from it.

Photos of real weddings are used only with written permission from the couple, and only the images the couple agreed to. Headlines name the package and the date window, and they keep the claims to what the contract says.

Closest Venue Work

The closest build I have

The closest work I have done is brand work for Desert Inn Oasis, a Las Vegas event venue. I redrew its logo lockup and planned its new website from 735 competitor pages. The site is in build now, and I do not claim its results.

I have not run paid campaigns for a wedding venue, so this page does not claim that work.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

From what I've seen, Justin knows the AI automation space better than most people I've come across in Las Vegas. He's the kind of person who actually understands the technical side and can explain it without making you feel lost. Good guy, good reputation.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Wedding Venue Campaign Readout

The readout a venue owner sees

The readout is built from the venue's calendar and tour log, so the owner can check every line against them.

A storefront street in the Valley
  • Tour requests by campaign, package and date window
  • Calls by tracked number, with the page each call came from
  • Dates held, signed and lost, by season
  • Spend by campaign against the signed dates it produced
  • Changes made and the open dates each one targets

Wedding Venue Ad Setup

Scope before launch

Setup starts with a written scope that lists the packages, the date windows, the channels and the readout. The owner signs off on the scope before any ad goes live, so nothing is decided by default.

Tracking is tested with a real tour request and a real call before launch. If a form or number fails, the fix happens before the first click, not after the first month of inquiries.
