Church SEO

Search that helps visitors find you

Church SEO is search work for the people looking for a church they can attend this Sunday. I keep the listing accurate, write pages for service times and ministries, and track first-time visits back to the search that sent them. I work from Las Vegas and serve churches elsewhere over calls.

Church SEO Services

What a church search needs

A church search is local and specific. A person types a service type, a neighborhood or a ministry and expects a clear answer: where, when and whether they can come as they are. The listing and the pages have to answer those three questions before the visitor leaves the results.

I work on the listing, the church's own pages and the few local directories that matter for the area, and I keep the information the same everywhere it appears.

Where church SEO reports miss

Many SEO reports for churches list keywords and rankings nobody types, and they never say whether a single family visited. A ranking move is not a first visit, and a board cannot check it against a welcome card.

I report the other way: which search, page or listing brought each first-time visit, and what service followed.

Church SEO Cost

What sets the SEO scope

I quote a fixed price for a written scope after reading the listing and the site. A church with one campus and a multi-campus church need different work, so a single price list would not fit either.

A storefront street in the Valley
  • How many campuses, service times and listings need work
  • How many ministry and event pages the church has
  • Whether the website needs a rebuild before search work starts
  • Listings and reviews that need cleanup across directories
  • How long the church wants monthly search work to run

Church SEO Process

How a church search project runs

Every project runs the same five steps, and each one ends with something the church office can check.

  1. Step 01

    Check the listing

I check the Google listing for service times, address, photos and the right category, then send a written read of what is wrong.

  2. Step 02

    Agree the search list

The searches for service times, ministries and neighborhoods are written on one page before any change is made.

  3. Step 03

    Write the pages

Service times, ministry pages and the plan-your-visit page are written in the church's own words and checked by its leaders.

  4. Step 04

    Connect tracking

First-time visit forms and direction requests are tagged to the page that produced them, and each tag is tested before launch.

  5. Step 05

    Read the monthly report

Each month shows first-time visits by search and page, along with the changes made and the reason for each.

Church Service Time Searches

Service times and ministries

Service-time searches are the most valuable and the easiest to get wrong. A visitor who finds the wrong time on a listing or an old social post does not come back. I keep one service time as the source of truth and update every listing from it.

Ministry searches are different. A person looking for a children's program, a men's group or a support group wants a specific answer. Each ministry gets its own page with the time, the place, the contact and what to expect, so the search has a clear destination.

Church Neighborhood Searches

Churches near a neighborhood

Neighborhood searches add a place to the search, such as a church near a school or a church in a named part of the Valley. Those searches need the address, the parking details and a clear map, and the pages name the nearby streets a visitor would use.

Directory listings and the church's own listing have to match on name, address and phone. Mismatched details are one of the easiest things for search to misread, and one of the easiest to fix.

Church Listing and Reviews

Listing and reviews kept honest

A church listing can collect reviews from members and visitors. I do not write reviews or ask people to post under false names. I can help the church ask a visitor who wants to leave a review, and I can draft replies that the pastor or office approves before they post.

Replies stay short, warm and specific to what the visitor said. A reply never shares a member's personal details.

Church SEO Readout

What the board sees each month

The readout counts visits and never names a person. A board member can check each line against the welcome card log.

A business owner reviewing work on a phone
  • First-time visit forms by search and page
  • Direction requests and calls from the listing
  • Visits to the service times and plan-your-visit pages
  • Changes made that month and the reason for each
  • Next month's searches, chosen from the data

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking

I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

Closest Work for Churches

No church case claimed

I have not done search work for a church, and I do not claim one. The closest work is a healthcare website with booking and lead tracking, and a Las Vegas web design brand with its own booking form. That is process proof, not church results.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.
