Las Vegas Video Editor
Raw footage, cut to a date
I am a Las Vegas video editor. I cut raw footage for creators and firms in the Valley into finished videos, on a turnaround date written into the scope before I start.

Why raw footage sits unedited for weeks
Footage waits on an editor's calendar
Most creators and small firms in Las Vegas already have the footage. A shoot day, a stack of customer interviews, a month of event clips. What they do not have is an editor with an open week, so the files sit on a drive while the posts they were made for go unposted.
The second delay is the feedback. A cut comes back, the notes arrive in three messages and a text, and nobody can say which version is current or how many rounds were agreed. Each round restarts the clock, and the video meant for this month runs next quarter.

How a Las Vegas video editor works with you
One editor from raw files to export
I take the raw files, log what is in them, and build a rough cut to the brief you gave me before I touch the finish. You see the rough cut first, so you judge the story and not a polished edit you have to undo.
After one round of notes, I finish the cut: pacing, captions, titles, color that matches across clips and sound levels that hold on a phone. The final file is exported in the sizes you need for the feed, the website or a screen at an event, and every project file goes with it.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking
I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

Six kinds of cut I make most
Most clients need one of these cuts. Each card links to the page for the service that goes with it.
Short social videos
Vertical cuts for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, with captions and a clear hook in the first two seconds.

Product and service videos built from interviews, screen capture and b-roll, cut to a script written first.

Long recordings trimmed, leveled and cut into full episodes plus short clips for social.

A recap built from a full day of footage, with music you have the right to use and a clear run time.

Interviews cut into short proof clips for a homepage, an ad or a follow-up email.

Creators, firms and event teams
Creators with a backlog of footage and a posting schedule they cannot keep up with. A solo creator who shoots every week needs an editor who learns the channel and returns each cut in time for the next upload.
Firms that film their own work, such as a contractor's job sites or a clinic's team day, and want it cut into something a buyer can watch in thirty seconds. I am not the right fit for a feature film or a studio production with a full crew, and I say so on the first call.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

From what I've seen, Justin knows the AI automation space better than most people I've come across in Las Vegas. He's the kind of person who actually understands the technical side and can explain it without making you feel lost. Good guy, good reputation.

I've Known Justin for a while now and he really knows his stuff when it comes to AI consulting. If people in Las Vegas were to ask me for recommendations in this space, he's the best guy for the job, hands down.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Known Justin for a few years now. Guy knows the AI space better than most people I've come across, especially here in Las Vegas where there's no shortage of people claiming to be experts. He actually understands how AI automation works at a practical level, not just the theory. The kind of person who gives you a straight answer with kindness and patience

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

How much does video editing cost in Las Vegas
Cost follows the footage and the cuts
I quote a fixed price for a written scope after I have seen the footage. Two ten-second clips and a forty-minute interview are different jobs, so one flat rate would be wrong for at least one of them. These are the things that move the number, so you can read any quote, mine included.

- How many hours of raw footage there are
- How many finished cuts come out of it
- Graphics, titles and motion captions
- How many revision rounds the scope includes
- Music, stock footage or licensed clips
How long does video editing take in Las Vegas
Turnaround is set in the scope
Short social cuts usually come back within a few business days of the footage arriving. A longer recap or an explainer built from a script takes more time, and the date goes into the written scope before work starts.
The clock starts when the files are complete and the notes are in. If the footage arrives in pieces or the brief changes, the date moves on the same page, with the reason written beside it so nothing is a surprise.

Who owns the files and the final cut
Files and final cuts stay with the client
You own the final export and the project file. I keep a working copy only for as long as the scope says, then hand over the full set in one folder, with the source footage list and the captions file.
Music, fonts and stock clips come from sources you have the rights to use, and I flag anything that needs a license before it goes into a cut. This is production guidance, not legal advice, so any contract with usage terms should go past your own attorney.

Revisions follow a written list of notes
Notes in one message, one round at a time
Each cut gets one round of changes, sent as one list of notes with time codes. Notes that arrive across three messages count as one round, and the list that is agreed is the only list I build from.
Extra rounds are priced in the scope when it is written, so nobody is surprised by a second or third pass. A change that is not on the list waits for the next round rather than quietly replacing work that is already approved.

Video editing process from raw files to export
Five steps, each with a file you can open
- Step 01
Read the footage
I log the files, mark the strongest takes and read the brief. You get a short note on what the footage can and cannot carry.
- Step 02
Build the rough cut
A first pass that shows the story, the order and the length, before any polish goes in.
- Step 03
Review one round
You send one list of notes with time codes, and that agreed list is the only one I build from.
- Step 04
Finish the cut
Captions, titles, pacing, sound levels and color matched across clips, then export in the sizes you need.
- Step 05
Hand over the files
Final exports, the project file and the source list arrive in one folder, with a note on what each file is.
