What Affordable SEO Includes

Most owners who search for affordable SEO have been sold a package that lists tasks and never shows the work behind them. A low price with no visible output is not a saving. The work below is organized so each part leaves a record you can open.

The scope comes first, then the fixes, then a monthly log of what changed and why.

The starting list is short on purpose. A written site audit, one set of title and description fixes, the local profile check and a monthly log that records each change with its date and reason. Anything beyond that list is added only after the audit shows it is needed, so the scope you approve matches the work the site actually needs.

GIOSTAR homepage, a website I built

What I Do

Site audit

A written read of the pages, the technical health and the local listings, with each issue marked fix, keep or ask you.

Page fixes

Titles, descriptions, headings and internal links corrected on the pages that matter most, with each edit logged.

Local listing care

The business profile, hours, categories and reviews kept accurate and answered on the platforms that send you calls.

Content plan

A short list of pages to write, each tied to a question a customer asks before they call.

Monthly log

A dated record of every change, with the search and page data that followed it, shown beside the month before.

Why Cheap SEO Often Does Nothing

Tasks Without Output

A package that promises a long list of activities each month can look full on paper and still change nothing a customer sees. The reports fill up with tasks, the site looks the same and no one can say which task moved anything.

The cost is the months spent waiting for a result that was never planned. A plan you can read from the first page is the only safe way to judge the price.

Cheap plans usually fail in one of two ways. Either the work is spread so thin that no page gets a real edit, or the plan is built around a list of tasks the vendor can finish quickly whether or not they matter. Both leave an owner with a bill and a site that looks the same as it did before the first invoice.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking

I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

Affordable SEO Scope Tiers

What Each Tier Includes

The tiers are set by the work each one includes, not by a number of tasks. The table shows the parts each tier covers, so you can see what a lower scope drops before you choose it.

Each tier names the pages and listings it covers before it names anything else. A starter tier usually holds the business profile and a handful of core pages. A growth tier adds the service pages and the local content. A larger tier adds the store or the multi-location work, and the audit decides which tier fits.

How Affordable SEO Works

Each step is written before it runs. The audit lists the fixes, you mark each one keep, change or skip, and only the approved items move into the month. A step does not start until the one before it has a record in the log.

The monthly rhythm stays the same: check the calls and the search data, fix what broke, write the pages on the approved list and record the result. The steps stay short because a short plan is easier to check than a long one.

WebVegas homepage, a website I built

My Process

  1. Step 01

    Audit the site in writing

You get the list before any change. Nothing public moves until you have read it and marked what stays.

  2. Step 02

Pick the tier and the fixes

You choose the scope from the table, and the fixes inside it are agreed item by item.

  3. Step 03

    Fix and log each change

Every edit is recorded with the before and after, so each change can be checked or reversed.

  4. Step 04

Add content where it earns its place

A new page is written only for a question a customer asks, and it is linked from the pages that already rank.

  5. Step 05

    Read the month back

The log and the search data show what changed, what did not and what I would do next month.

What the Monthly Log Shows

A Record You Can Check

The monthly log is the proof of work. Each row holds the page or listing, the change, the date, the reason and the result the data showed afterward. Where the data shows no movement yet, the log says so, and the next row explains what I plan to check.

You can compare any two months side by side, and you can check any row against your own analytics or your Google Business Profile.

A log entry is only useful if it can be checked. Each entry names the change, the date, the reason and the number the data showed afterward. A change with no visible result yet is marked as waiting, not as a win.

Affordable SEO Cost

How the Price Is Set

I quote a fixed price for the tier you choose, after the written audit, so the number you approve is the number you pay. The tier sets the parts, and the audit sets how many pages and listings need fixes before the first month starts.

A site with twelve pages and a clean profile and a site with two hundred pages and a neglected profile need different scopes. A list price would fit one of them and overcharge or underdeliver on the other.

Cheap SEO fails when the price hides the labor. The fee should show which pages and listings it covers and what work each one receives. If a quote does not name the pages, ask for the list before you compare it with anyone else's.

What the Written Audit Contains

The Document to Read First

The audit is the first deliverable, and it is written so you can read it without a technical background. It lists each page and listing that needs a change, the reason for the change in plain words, and the order I would make the changes in once you approve them.

It also lists what I would not touch. A page that already ranks, a listing that is accurate and a layout that works are marked keep, so the audit does not invent work to justify a fee. You can take the written list to any other company and compare it line by line.

SEO Packages Vs One Person

One Person Does the Work

Packaged SEO often passes the work to a junior team that follows a template. The person who wrote the audit is rarely the person changing the pages, and the template does not know your business.

When you hire me, the person who reads your site is the person who makes the fixes and writes the log.

A package from a large firm often means the audit and the changes are handled by different people, with a handoff that loses detail. When one person writes the audit and makes the first change, the reasons stay attached to the work, and you can ask about any line in the log.

Local SEO Scope Las Vegas

Local Work Comes First

For most Valley businesses the first gains come from the local profile, the pages that name the area and the reviews that show up beside the search. Those parts are usually in the starter and growth tiers, and they are the first items I check in the audit.

A business that serves a national audience gets a different plan, centered on the pages and the content that answer national questions. The Valley plan and the national plan share the same audit and the same log, so switching between them does not reset the record.

A Valley business that serves customers across several cities should set its service areas on purpose. I check that the profile, the service pages and the reviews name the same areas, and that no page claims a city the business does not serve.

When a Cheap Plan Is Not Enough

Signs a Small Plan Has Stopped Working

A small plan works while the site is sound and the local profile is current. It stops working when the site needs a rebuild, when a store has grown past what the template can hold or when several locations need pages that share one structure. Those are the moments to stop and reread the audit.

When that happens, I say so in the log and recommend the next step, even if it means a bigger scope or a different company. A plan that keeps a business paying for work that no longer fits is not a saving.

Live Work Behind the Log

Documented Work

The examples below are real work I have built and can show. Each one links to the live page, so you can judge the result yourself before you decide whether the scope fits your business.

  1. Step 01

    Automated SEO audits

A search audit system that opens each issue, ages it where you can see it and closes it when it is gone.

  2. Step 02

Local SEO on my own site

Search work I ran on my own site for weeks before I used it for anyone else, with each fix logged as a dated row.

  3. Step 03

    GIOSTAR, a Henderson clinic

The website, booking and lead tracking I built for a regenerative medicine clinic, which I still run.

Where the First Money Goes

The First Month Sequence

The first month is the one that decides whether the rest of the plan is worth paying for. It starts with the fixes that touch the most customers: the business profile, the core service pages and any page with an error a visitor would see on a phone.

Only after those are done does the plan move to new content. That order is written into the audit, so you can see why each item sits where it does. If a fix cannot be finished in the first month, the log says what is waiting on it and who has to act next.

Early fixes go where a missed fix costs the most. A broken form, a wrong phone number on the profile or a service page that does not load on a phone comes before any new content, because those are the items that lose a call the same day.

An owner at work in a modern office

Costs Beyond the Fee

What the Fee Does Not Cover

The fee covers the scope you chose. It does not cover photography you commission, a new website build, paid advertising or a fee charged by a tool you choose to keep. Where one of those is needed, the audit names it and leaves the decision to you.

I would rather name the cost on the first page than have it appear as a surprise in month four. If a line item in the audit needs one of these, it is marked with the reason, and nothing is added to the scope until you say yes to it.

Some costs sit outside the fee and should be known before you sign. A new logo, a photo shoot or a paid ad test each has its own price, and the audit names them when they are needed rather than adding them to the monthly scope.

  • Photography or video you commission
  • A website rebuild if the current site cannot take fixes
  • Paid advertising, which is a separate budget
  • Software subscriptions you choose to keep
  • Legal or accounting advice of any kind

Affordable SEO Scope Questions

How the Scope Changes

These questions come up on nearly every affordable SEO call. The answers below are the ones I give in writing before anyone signs, so the scope and the reasons are on paper.

What I Will Not Promise

No Rank Guarantees

Nobody can promise page one for a search term, and I will not. Rankings move with competitors, search changes and the market, and a guarantee is a sales line rather than a plan.

What I commit to is the written scope, the logged work and an honest monthly readout that says when nothing has moved yet.

I will not promise a number of leads, a fixed ranking or a date by which a term reaches page one. Those outcomes depend on the competition and on how search changes, and I would rather show you the work and the log than sell you a promise I cannot keep.

A business owner reviewing work on a phone

Who Affordable SEO Is For

Owners Who Want a Plan

The owners who hire me for affordable SEO usually run a professional practice or a larger home-services company that has already tried a cheap package. They want the money to buy work they can see, and they are willing to pay for a plan that is smaller and honest.

If you want the cheapest option on the market, this is not the right page for you. If you want to know exactly what the money buys, it is.

A good fit is an owner who wants a short plan they can read, check and cancel if the results do not show. A poor fit is an owner who wants guaranteed placement or a team that runs every task without a written approval step.

Paying for SEO Month to Month

Cancel If the Log Stays Empty

A month-to-month plan should be easy to leave. The log is the reason to stay or go: if the entries are current and the reasons are clear, the plan is working. If the entries are thin, repeated or missing, the plan should end before the next invoice.

Ask for the log at any point. The audit and the log are written for you to keep, so an end to the plan does not mean starting over from nothing.
