Billboard Advertising Las Vegas

A billboard you can count

Billboard Advertising Las Vegas buys work best when every sign has its own phone line or promo code. I plan the buy, set up the count before launch and report what each sign produced. You own the phone numbers, the landing page and the reporting.

What a billboard buy includes

A billboard buy is a rented face on a road, a route or a building for a set period, with the artwork, the placement and the media cost agreed in advance. The sign does the reaching. Everything that turns a passing driver into a call, a visit or a form fill has to be added around it.

I plan that surrounding work for owners who want to know what the sign did. The buy plan lists each face, the period, the artwork and the way each sign will be counted before anything goes up.

Billboard Advertising Las Vegas Cost

What moves the buy price

I quote my planning and tracking work as a fixed price for a written scope. The media cost comes from the sign company or the route operator, and it is shown as its own line so you can compare it with other offers. Prices vary by location, time of year and face type, so I do not publish a number.

An owner at work in a modern office
  • Which faces and routes are on the plan, and how long each runs
  • Whether the faces are static or digital, and how often the copy changes
  • How many separate phone lines, codes and landing pages the count needs
  • How much artwork is new and how much is adapted from existing material
  • How often the readout is sent and how much detail it carries

Las Vegas Digital Billboards

Static and digital faces

A static billboard shows one design until someone replaces the vinyl. A digital face rotates messages on a schedule, so one location can carry more than one offer across a day. Digital faces suit a business with two or three offers in a season. Static faces suit one clear message that will not change for weeks.

The face type changes the copy more than the count. Either way, each message needs its own phone line or code, or the readout cannot separate them.

Las Vegas Mobile Billboards

Trucks that drive the route

Mobile billboards are rented by the route rather than bought as a fixed face. A truck or trailer drives a set path through the parts of town you choose, at times you choose. That suits a launch, an event or a short push into one neighborhood. It is harder to count than a fixed sign, so the tracking has to be set up before the first loop.

Where Billboard Ads Get Seen

Routes and neighborhoods

The right location depends on where your buyers drive, not on where the sign looks busiest. A dental office wants faces near its patients' commutes. A home-services company wants faces on the roads its crews already travel. I ask where the buyers live and work before any face is picked, and I say plainly when a location is a poor fit.

The builds below are real and each link goes to the live work. None of them is a billboard campaign, so I do not claim one. They show how I build the pages and tracking a sign points people toward.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking

I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

How an Offline Buy Gets Measured

A way to count the calls

A sign cannot be clicked, so the count has to be built into what the sign points to. Each face gets one or more of the tools below, and the readout shows which one brought the call, visit or form.

Unique phone line

Each sign or route gets its own number that forwards to your main line. Calls on that number are logged by sign.

QR code

A code on the sign leads to a page built for that face. Scans show up as visits to that page, separate from the rest of the site.

Promo code

A code printed on the sign and read aloud on a call. Staff record it when a customer uses it, so the count includes people who did not scan anything.

Dedicated landing page

A short page for the offer, with its own address, tracked from the first visit to the form or call it produces.

Where a Billboard Budget Goes Wrong

The sign nobody can count

The usual problem is a buy that ran for a month, a phone that rang, and no way to say which sign rang it. The owner pays for the face, and the readout is a photo of the billboard and a sentence about awareness. Nobody can tell whether the sign or the radio spot or the Google listing brought the call.

That gap is the one I close first. A sign with its own number is a sign that can be judged.

Billboard Advertising Services Las Vegas

What I do on a billboard buy

  1. Step 01

    Buy plan

The faces, the route, the period and the artwork brief, written so you can approve each one before it is booked.

  2. Step 02

    Count setup

Phone lines, codes and landing pages built and tested before the first face goes live.

  3. Step 03

    Artwork brief

One message per face with a single action, so the count has a clean line to follow.

  4. Step 04

    Readout

A plain report of calls, visits and forms by face, with the sign that did not work named as plainly as the one that did.

How a Billboard Campaign Runs

Count first, then the sign

  1. Step 01

    Plan the count

Every face gets its line, code or page before anything is booked.

  2. Step 02

    Test one face

A single face runs first, so the count and the call handling are proven on a small buy.

  3. Step 03

    Read the first weeks

The first readout shows which faces produced contacts and which need a new message or a new location.

  4. Step 04

    Scale or stop

Faces that earn their cost stay on the plan, and the ones that do not are stopped on the stop rule you approved.

Billboard Buy Process Step by Step

How a sign goes from plan to readout

Step one is the goal and the area. I write down the customer the sign has to reach, the offer it will carry and the number that would count as a result. Step two is the buy plan: each face, the period, the artwork date and the phone line or code for each message.

Step three is the count. Every number is set up before the sign goes up, and I test that it routes correctly. Step four is the launch check, then a weekly look at calls and codes. Step five is the readout at the end of the period, with a clear call to keep, change or stop each face.

Billboard Advertising Beside Other Ads

The work that sits next to a sign

A billboard usually runs next to search, video and local listings, and the count has to be read across all of them. These are the services I offer beside it, each with its own page.

Plan a Billboard Buy

A count written in before launch

Send me the area you want the sign to reach and the offer it should carry. I will reply with a written read of the faces that fit, the count I would set up and what I would test first.
