Search Engine Marketing Las Vegas

Paid search you can split

I run Search Engine Marketing Las Vegas accounts for Valley businesses, inside an ad account you own. Paid and organic results are reported in separate columns, so you can see what each one produced.

Is Search Engine Marketing Worth It

Where the paid clicks go

Owners who pay for search often get a monthly report that combines paid and organic results into one total. The traffic looks healthy, the paid clicks are buried inside it, and nobody can say whether the spend brought the calls the business needs.

The usual cause is a bundle with no split. One vendor runs the ads and the search work, reports the total, and leaves the owner unable to judge either part. Paid clicks cost money every day, and organic results come from work that compounds, so they should never be read as one number.

Before any budget goes in, I write the result as one action a searcher takes, such as a call, a form or a booking. Paid and organic results are then reported against that action in separate columns.

Search Engine Marketing Management

An account you own, run by me

I set up and run your search campaigns inside a Google Ads account registered to your business. Your team gets admin access from day one, so the account, the conversion tracking and the keyword lists stay with the business no matter who runs the day to day.

I handle the weekly work: keyword review, negative keywords, ad copy testing, bids and budgets, and the search terms report. You get the same view of the account that I use, so every number in my readout can be checked on the platform.

Paid and Organic Search Together

One report, two columns

Paid and organic search serve the same buyer, often on the same results page, and they should be planned together. Paid search tests an offer quickly. Organic search keeps the good pages visible once the ad budget stops. The two lists of search terms often overlap, and the overlap tells me which queries are worth paying for and which need a page.

The split report shows paid results from the ad account and organic results from the search console beside it, with the same defined action in both columns. It makes the trade-off visible, which is the point of the split.

What I do on the account

Most owners hire me for search for one of these six jobs, and each one leaves a record you can open.

Account and tracking setup

A Google Ads account in your business name, the conversion tracking installed and tested, and the action each campaign is measured against.

Keyword plan

Searches grouped by intent, each group matched to the page that answers it, with the terms that will not be bought written down.

Ad copy and extensions

Headlines and descriptions that match the search and the landing page, with call and location extensions where the business needs them.

Negative keyword review

A standing negative list built from the search terms report, so the budget stops paying for queries that never convert.

Weekly adjustment

Each week I pause the weak ad groups, move budget toward the ones producing the defined action, and log every change.

Monthly split report

One written page with paid and organic results side by side, cost per action, what changed and what comes next.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

Keyword Research for Search Ads

Which searches are worth paying for

A keyword list is a list of promises. Each term tells the business what a searcher wants, and the ad has to deliver it. Broad terms reach many people and waste much of the budget, while exact or phrase match keeps the spend close to the service the business sells.

I group the searches by intent: people who want the service now, people comparing providers and people looking for information. Paid budget goes to the first group first. The second and third groups are served by a page, and the ads only enter once the page exists.

A storefront street in the Valley

Negative Keywords and Search Terms

Stop paying for the wrong searches

The search terms report shows the exact words a person typed before clicking. It is the most useful report in the account, because it is where wasted budget is visible. A search for a free course, a job or a DIY guide can trigger an ad that the business never wanted to show.

Each week I read the terms, add the irrelevant ones to the negative list and move the converting terms into their own ad groups with copy written for them. The list is kept in the account, so the next person inherits the same protection.

Ad Copy and Landing Pages

Ads that match the page

A search ad that promises one thing and sends the visitor to a general homepage loses the click at the second step. The headline, the page heading and the offer should say the same thing, so the visitor sees what they clicked for.

I test two or three ad versions at a time and keep the one that produces the defined action at the agreed cost. Where a page needs a change before the ad can convert, I say so in the scope, and the page change is priced separately from the ads.

Search Engine Marketing Company Las Vegas

Which businesses search suits

Search fits any business where buyers type the service into a box before they buy it: a law firm, an accountant, a dental office, a contractor, a med spa, a repair shop. The searcher already wants the service, so the ad only has to be the right answer at the right moment.

It is a weak first channel for a business that people do not search for by name or category, such as a brand that sells on impulse. I say so on the first call and point the owner to the channel that fits.

How a Search Test Runs

Tracking first, then a small test

  1. Step 01

    Define the action

Choose the one result that counts before spend starts, and write down the cost you can accept for it.

  2. Step 02

    Install and test tracking

Confirm the conversion fires on the page the ad sends people to, and that a test action appears in the platform.

  3. Step 03

    Launch a small test

A few ad groups on a fixed daily budget, with the negative list in place before the first search runs.

  4. Step 04

    Scale or stop

Budget moves only to ad groups that hit the agreed cost. Losing groups pause, and the reason is logged.

  5. Step 05

    Report monthly

A written split report with paid and organic results, cost per action and the next test.

Search Engine Marketing Cost

What moves the budget

Search engine marketing pricing comes down to two separate lines. My work is a fixed price for a written scope, quoted after I look at your keywords, pages and tracking. The ad budget is what you choose to spend with Google, and it is paid to the platform, not to me.

The scope changes the price, so these are the things I price for. You can judge any quote this way, mine included.

A business owner reviewing work on a phone
  • How many services and locations the keyword plan covers
  • How many ad groups the first test needs
  • Landing page changes the ads need before they can convert
  • Tracking already in place, versus conversion setup from scratch
  • Search terms review depth, weekly or monthly
  • Reporting depth: a monthly split report, or a report plus a call each week

Search Engine Marketing Near Me

Where I meet you

I work from Las Vegas and I am happy to meet in person anywhere from Summerlin to Henderson. Owners outside the Valley get the same process over a call and a shared project page, with the same account, tracking and split report.

What the Monthly Search Readout Shows

One page I can defend

The readout is one written page in plain words. It shows the defined action and its cost, paid and organic results in separate columns, the search terms I excluded and why, and the test planned for next month.

You can check each line against the account I share with you. If a number does not match the platform, I write down why before the next report goes out. The readout also names what I did not do, in one line.

Who Owns the Search Account

The account stays with you

You are the owner of record. The Google Ads account, the conversion tracking and the keyword lists are created under your business name, and your team gets admin access on day one. Invoices are addressed to your business.

If you stop working with me, the account stays where it is. I hand over the access list, the negative keyword list and the campaign notes, so the next person can pick up the same account without starting over.

What I Need From You to Start

A short list, not a long brief

Start is four items, not a questionnaire.

An owner at work in a modern office
  • The services you want the search ads to bring in, in order of value
  • Access to the site, so the conversion tracking can be installed and tested
  • The one or two actions that matter most, such as a call or a booking
  • One named person who can approve each ad before it goes live
