Electrician Advertising

Ads Tied to Scheduled Jobs

Electrician advertising for contractors who want every ad dollar matched to a scheduled job. I set up the campaigns, the call tracking and a readout the dispatcher can check, and I keep residential and commercial ads apart.

Why Electrician Ad Spend Goes Untraced

Clicks with no scheduled jobs

Many electrical contractors pay for ads and get a report of clicks, impressions and cost per lead. The report does not say which campaign booked the visit. Calls land on a dispatcher who is already on a job, and the caller's source is lost by the time the job is written up. The owner sees a bill and no list of scheduled jobs to match it against.

Residential or Commercial Electrical Ads

Two buyers, two campaigns

A homeowner responds to a clear offer and a quick visit, often on a phone, often within the hour of a problem. A property manager responds to a bid process, a licensed and insured crew and a set of references. The same ad sent to both makes both look average, and the owner cannot see which buyer is paying for the campaign.

Electrician Advertising Ideas

Campaigns by job, not by channel

I start with the jobs you want more of, such as panel upgrades, charger installs or commercial service work, and build one campaign for each. Each campaign has its own landing page, its own call tracking number and its own line in the readout. A channel is a place to run a campaign, not the plan itself.

Electrician Advertising Campaigns

What each campaign includes

The readout names the campaign behind each line, so the owner can see which one booked the job.

Search ads for urgent work

Search ads for an outage, a burning smell or a breaker that keeps tripping, with the phone number and the service area on the ad.

Search ads for planned work

Search ads for panel upgrades and charger installs, which lead to a quote form rather than a phone call.

Business profile calls

Call and direction actions on the Google Business Profile are tracked, so a map search that ends in a call is counted.

Social ads for homeowners

Meta ads to homeowners in the service area, for seasonal offers such as a safety check before the hot months.

Commercial bid campaigns

Search and LinkedIn campaigns aimed at property managers and general contractors, with a bid form and no consumer offer.

Call tracking on every ad

A tracked number for each campaign, so the dispatcher logs the source before the call is answered.

What Electrical Ads Have to Follow

Platform rules as marketing limits

Google and Meta review ads against their own policies, and those policies change. Trade service ads often need the business name and location to match the verified profile, and claims about speed, price, certification or a specific brand can get an ad limited or removed. I check the current rules before a campaign goes live and write each offer to fit them.

Licensing is a question for the state board or your counsel. I will not tell you whether an ad meets the board's rules, and I keep the license number and the business name consistent across every ad and page.

The Closest Ad Work I Have

No electrical account in the portfolio

None of the five builds in my portfolio is an electrical account, so I claim no electrical ad result. The method is the part I can show: every call tagged to a campaign, every form matched to a booked job and a readout the office checks against the schedule.

Ask to see that method before you decide, and ask what the first two campaigns would be.

Every build below is real and every link goes to the live work. Two of the five are full websites I built and still run. The other three are brand and content work, two of them for sites that are in build now, and each card says which.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking

I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

How a Campaign Starts

Read, pick, build, then move the budget

Each step ends with a set of numbers the office can check, and the first campaign goes live only after the tags are tested.

  1. Step 01

    Read the current ads

I review the campaigns, the calls and the jobs they booked, and the calls that never booked.

  2. Step 02

    Pick the first two jobs

Two jobs that pay well and that the crew can take on, each with a campaign of its own.

  3. Step 03

    Build and tag

Landing pages, tracked numbers and form routing are set up and tested before launch.

  4. Step 04

    Read and move the budget

Money moves to the campaign that books the job, and the change is named in the monthly readout.

What Moves Electrician Ad Costs

Jobs, areas and call handling

The budget follows the number of jobs you want, the areas the trucks reach and how calls are answered after hours. I set a starting budget in the written scope, and I do not quote a number before I have read the current campaigns.
