Landscaping Advertising
Ads I Can Trace to Contracts
Landscaping advertising for owners who sell design-build installs and recurring maintenance. Install campaigns start ahead of the season, maintenance campaigns run steadily, and each booked estimate is tied to the ad that produced it.

Landscaping Advertising and the Two Businesses
Installs and maintenance buy differently
A landscaper who sells both installs and maintenance is running two businesses on one truck. An install is a project: the buyer compares designers, asks for ideas, waits for a site visit and signs weeks later. A maintenance account is a route: the buyer wants a crew, a price and a start date, and the decision often happens in one call.
Advertising that treats the two the same wastes money on both. The install campaign needs time and proof. The maintenance campaign needs speed and local reach.

Where Landscaping Ad Money Goes Missing
Spend that never reaches a contract
Ad platforms report clicks, calls and form fills. A small maintenance lead can cost little and still be the most profitable account on the route. A large install lead can cost more and never sign. When the report counts only the lead, the owner keeps paying for the cheap leads that go nowhere and cuts the install campaign that was about to close.
That is the wound I see most in landscaping advertising: money spent every month and no way to check it against the contracts on the calendar.

Season-Ahead Install Campaigns
Install demand moves before the season
Install work tends to be booked before the crew breaks ground, so the campaign has to start earlier than the work. In the Valley the summer heat changes the calendar, and install demand usually follows the cooler months. I plan the install campaign backward from the dates the crew can start, so the ads reach people while they are still deciding.
Install ads point to a project gallery and an estimate request, not a generic services page. The first readout asks one question: how many site visits did this campaign book, and how many turned into signed designs.

Steady Maintenance Campaigns
Maintenance runs all year
Maintenance demand does not wait for a season, but it does shift with the weather and with the neighborhoods where crews already work. A steady campaign keeps a small, fixed budget running, aimed at the towns and ZIP codes the route covers, and it stops the moment a route is full.
The question for maintenance is different: how many new recurring accounts did each neighborhood add, and what did each account cost to win.

Landscaping Ad Routes Compared
Which channel fits which contract
| Channel | Best for | What it can show | What to watch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search ads | Buyers typing a service and a town | Calls and estimate forms by keyword | Broad terms that pull mowing leads into install budgets |
| Social ads | Homeowners who see finished yards | Clicks, gallery views and form fills | Creative that shows only the finished work |
| Local profile posts | Nearby buyers comparing crews | Calls and direction requests | Replies to reviews and photo freshness |
| Retargeting | Visitors who viewed a project page | Return visits and booked visits | Frequency, so one neighborhood is not flooded |

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking
I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Known Justin for a few years now. Guy knows the AI space better than most people I've come across, especially here in Las Vegas where there's no shortage of people claiming to be experts. He actually understands how AI automation works at a practical level, not just the theory. The kind of person who gives you a straight answer with kindness and patience

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Tracking Landscaping Ads to Contracts
Tracking set up before launch
Before the first campaign runs, I set up tracking so each call, form and booked visit is tied to the campaign, ad group and page that produced it. Calls use a tracked number on the page. Booked visits carry their source into your scheduling tool, so the crew knows which ad sent the buyer before the site visit.
The readout then answers one question per campaign: how many estimates did it book, and how many turned into signed work of each type.

Landscaping Ad Launch Steps
Five steps from the first call
1. Map the crew calendar
I start from the dates each crew can begin installs and the routes that have room, so spend follows capacity.
2. Set the offer per contract
Each campaign has one offer, one page and one measure, written down before any ad is drafted.
3. Build the tracking first
Campaign, page and call tracking, and the scheduling link, are tested before a dollar is spent.
4. Launch a capped test
Each campaign starts with a fixed budget, so the first weeks show whether the offer books visits at all.
5. Report contracts, not clicks
A monthly page shows booked visits, signed work and cost per signed contract, with the changes I made.
Landscaping Ad Monthly Readout
What the monthly report shows
Each figure can be checked against your scheduling tool and your phone log. I do not send a report you cannot verify yourself.

- Booked visits by campaign, split into install and maintenance
- Signed work by type and the cost per signed contract
- Calls and forms, with the page and ad behind each one
- Campaigns paused or changed, and the reason
- One recommendation for next month, with the reason
Closest Landscaping Work I Have
No landscaping client claimed
I do not have a landscaping advertising case to show you, and I will not claim one. The closest work is the brand and web work in the portfolio above. What I bring to a landscaper is the same process: tracked campaigns, a written scope and a readout you can check.

Landscaping Ads Fit for Which Crews
Crews ready to track contracts
The best fit is a landscaper with a working estimate path: a scheduling tool, a person who answers requests and a crew calendar that can take new work. A business with several crews or routes gets the most from split campaigns. A one-truck operator with no capacity to take new jobs should fix the schedule before buying ads, and I will say so on the first call.
