Restaurant SEO Services

Restaurant search is mostly a set of short questions. Someone types a cuisine and a neighborhood, asks for open now, looks for a private room or wants the lunch menu before walking in. Each question has a page that should answer it, and most restaurant sites answer none of them well.

I work on those pages: the menu as readable text, the hours in one place, the location details, the ordering and reservation links and the structured data that tells search what the page is about. Then I track which searches bring a visit, a booking or an order.

What I do for restaurant search

Menu pages

A menu written as searchable text, organized by course and kept current, so a guest can find a dish by name.

Local listing work

Hours, address and category kept consistent across the places guests check before they come.

Ordering and booking links

Direct links to your own ordering and reservation pages, tracked so you can see which search produced them.

Search tracking

Every visit, call and booking traced to a page and a search, reported in a one-page readout.

Restaurant SEO Company

One person, not a rotating team

Many restaurant owners have hired a search company that sold a monthly plan and sent a rotating junior to make changes. The plan promised rank, the reports showed keyword positions, and nobody could say which search brought a guest through the door.

I am the person doing the work. I write the pages, set the tracking and walk you through the numbers, so you never have to guess who changed what on your site or why a search went quiet.

Restaurant Search Cost

What moves the scope

I quote a fixed price for a written scope after I have looked at your current site, your menu and your listings. A single location with a menu and a booking link is a different job from a group with several concepts, a catering side and private dining pages, so a price list would be wrong for most owners who ask.

Search work is ongoing, because menus change, seasons change and new competitors open. The scope says what I do each month and what you will see in the readout, so the work you pay for is written down.

Best Restaurant SEO

How the options compare

Owners who search for the best restaurant SEO usually choose between three routes: a large agency, a monthly tool subscription, or a specialist who does the work directly. Each one can produce pages. The difference is who writes them, who owns the accounts and whether the results connect to a visit.

Affordable Restaurant SEO

Spend where the search is real

Affordable search work for a restaurant means spending on the pages that match real questions and skipping the ones nobody types. Many restaurant sites waste budget on blog posts about food trends that no local guest searches. I start with the questions your guests actually ask and build from there.

The affordable choice is also the honest one: a smaller set of pages that answer well, tracked properly, usually beats a large set that produces nothing you can measure.

Restaurant SEO Process

How the work runs, step by step

  1. Step 01

    Read the site and listings

I review your menu, hours, listings and tracking, and send a written read of what is working and what is missing before you pay anything.

  2. Step 02

    Set the tracking first

Visits, calls, reservations and orders are traced to a page before any content changes go live.

  3. Step 03

    Rewrite the core pages

The menu, hours and location pages are rebuilt as readable text, with the links guests need one tap away.

  4. Step 04

    Read the results together

Every month you get a one-page readout, and I decide the next changes from what it shows, with a stop rule written down for any test.

Restaurant SEO Pricing

No price list, a written scope

I do not publish a price list for restaurant search, because a menu-only site and a group with catering and events need different amounts of work. The scope you agree to is the number you pay, and it shows each task in order.

Ad platform fees are separate, and any hosting or ordering subscription is listed on its own line, and the scope names the readout you will get each month. When you compare scopes, check that each task is named, each readout is described and each account stays in your name.

Restaurant SEO Near Me

Local search for guests nearby

A guest searching restaurant SEO near me is usually asking a different question: which places near me show the menu and the hours fast. That search rewards a clear address, consistent hours across listings and a menu page that loads on a phone.

I build for that search first. The location details are the same on your site and your listings, and the menu is readable without a download, so a guest standing in a parking lot can decide in one screen.

Map listings matter for this search as much as the site does. I check that the category, the hours and the photos match the menu page, because a guest who sees one set of hours on the map and another on the site will not trust either. Mismatches are a common reason a nearby search does not turn into a visit.

How Much Does Restaurant SEO Cost

What the cost depends on

The cost depends on the scope: how many pages need rewriting, how many locations share the data, and whether the site has ordering, booking and events that need tracking. I give the number after I have seen the site, in writing, with no hidden line items.

Owners who ask for a flat monthly figure before a scope are asking for a number that cannot be honest for a restaurant. A written scope can be.

Restaurant Search Tracking

Each booking traced to a search

The reason to pay for search work is that the bookings and orders are counted and traced. I set up tracking on the reservation link, the online ordering button and each phone number, so a booking can be matched to the page and the search that brought it.

Search positions are kept as a side note. The readout leads with the visits, calls, bookings and orders, because those are the numbers that fill tables.

Track the actions that matter for a restaurant: reservation or order clicks, direction requests, menu views and calls from the business profile. Each one is tagged by page, so a slow weekend can be traced to a menu page that stopped loading or a listing that lost its hours, not to a guess about the season.

Restaurant SEO Examples

Process proof, with no client case claimed

I have not run a restaurant search campaign for a client, and I do not claim one. What I can show you is the setup I use on every account: the rewritten menu page, the structured data, the tracking and the readout. The steps are the same whatever the cuisine.

The live work below is the closest I have. The Henderson clinic site is a service business with its own listings, bookings and tracking, and I can walk you through how those pages were set up.

A business owner reviewing work on a phone

Restaurant Search Rules

Claims I keep off restaurant pages

Menu pages carry allergen notices, nutrition statements and alcohol wording, and listing platforms have their own rules on offers and reviews. Those lines matter to guests and to the platforms, so I keep each claim tied to a fact the kitchen can show.

I treat these as marketing considerations only. Whether your allergen, nutrition and alcohol wording meets your licensing and local rules is a call for you and your counsel, and I will not tell you a page is compliant.

Restaurant SEO Questions

Questions owners ask before they hire me

Straight answers to what owners ask me before they hire me. If yours is not here, ask it on a call.

Restaurant Menu Pages for Search

Why the menu has to be text

A menu sent as a PDF or a photo of a printed sheet is hard for search to read and hard for a guest to scan on a phone. The dish names, the prices and the descriptions never reach the search index, so the page cannot answer a question like a patio brunch or a gluten-free pasta.

I rebuild the menu as a web page with each course as a heading and each dish as a line of text. Guests can find a dish by name, and search can match the page to the question. Prices are kept current, and each section has its own link from the home page.

A storefront street in the Valley
  • Each course is a heading the search engine can read
  • Each dish is text, not an image of text
  • Dietary notes sit next to the dish they describe
  • Each menu section has its own link from the home page

Restaurant Search for Events

Private dining and catering pages

Private dining, rehearsal dinners and office catering are searched by a different person, usually planning a date or a budget for a group. Those searches reward a page that explains the room size, the menu options and the way to request a quote.

I build those pages as their own set, with a request form that routes to the events contact. Each form is tracked back to the search that brought it, so the events side of the business can be read as clearly as the dining room.

WebVegas homepage, a website I built

Restaurant Search Reporting

The monthly readout I send

The readout is one page. It shows visits from search, calls, reservations and online orders, with the searches and pages behind each one. Search positions appear only as a footnote, because a higher position that brings no booking does not help the dining room.

Where a booking cannot be traced to a search, the page says so. I would rather report a gap than fill it with a guess, so you can check the numbers against your reservation book.

Work I built, live where you can check it

Every build below is real and every link goes to the live work. None of them is a restaurant client. The closest work I have is a Henderson clinic site I built and still run, and my own web design brand, and each card says which.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking

I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.
