Roofing Advertising
Ad spend traced to signed jobs
I run roofing advertising for owners who want each campaign tied to an estimate request, a signed job and a crew that gets booked, with the numbers in their own accounts.

Roofing Advertising Strategy
Why most roofing ads cannot be traced
Most roofing owners can tell you what they spent on ads last month. Far fewer can tell you which ad produced the estimate that became a signed roof, or which one produced the call that went nowhere.
A roofing job can start with a leak, a storm or a shingle that looks tired, and the first search can be days or weeks before the phone call. If the ad report stops at clicks, the spend looks busy and the signed jobs look like luck.

Roofing Ads That Track
Where the agency model breaks
A common setup has the agency holding the ad account, the pixel and the billing. The monthly report shows impressions and leads, and the leads are whatever the platform counted. Nobody reads the list of which leads signed, so the cost per signed job is never on the page.
I set every account up in the owner's name from the start. The ad accounts, audiences, conversion events and call numbers stay with the business, so the record of what you spent and what it produced is yours.

Roofing Advertising Services
Who I run ads for
Most of the roofers I would take on are larger residential and commercial operators with several crews, a sales desk and a steady flow of estimates. A one-van owner can benefit too, but the tracking work only pays off when there is enough volume to read.
I start by asking which work you want more of, replacement, repair or commercial, because each one needs a different ad, a different estimate form and a different way of counting a sale.

Insurance Claim and Retail Campaigns
Two kinds of roofing job, two campaigns
An insurance-claim job and a retail job come from different people. A claim customer is often reacting to damage and a deadline, and a retail customer is planning a roof they will pay for directly. A single campaign blends the two and makes both look worse.
I build them as separate campaigns with separate landing pages, separate estimate forms and separate budget lines, so you can see the cost of each kind of signed job on its own.

- Claim campaigns and retail campaigns never share a budget
- Each has its own estimate form and landing page
- Signed jobs counted separately by job type
- Each campaign is cut or scaled on its own numbers
Roofing Ads Creative
How the creative gets built
Estimate offers
A free inspection offer with a short form, a photo upload and one clear next step: a visit on a named day.
Before and after
Job photos from completed work, shown with the material and the crew size, so the ad matches what the customer will get.
Seasonal reminders
A plain check-your-roof message timed to a season, linked to the same estimate form, tracked the same way as every other ad.
Commercial outreach
A targeted push to property managers and facility owners, with a request form that routes straight to the estimating desk.
What I Set Up Before Launch
Tracking installed before any ad runs
Before the first campaign goes live, I install conversion tracking on the estimate form, the call button and every phone number on the page, and I test each one from a phone. If an estimate cannot be traced to a campaign, it does not count as a campaign result, and the readout says so.
Call tracking gives each campaign its own number, so a call from a roof ad can be matched to the ad, the estimate and the salesperson who took it.

Estimates Followed to the Sale
Each estimate followed to the signed job
The number that matters in roofing is not the lead count. It is the share of estimates that become signed jobs, and the value of each one. I ask for the estimate log and the signed-job log so the ad report can match them, lead by lead.
Where the estimate desk does not record which source a customer came from, I set up a short source question on the form and a simple sheet the sales team fills in. It is a small habit, and it is what makes the cost per signed job readable.

Roofing Advertising Examples
Process proof, with no client case claimed
I have not run a roofing advertising campaign for a client, and I do not claim one. What I can show you is the setup I use on every account: the tracking, the job-type split, the estimate matching, the readout and the account ownership.
The live work below is the closest I have, and it is a different trade. Ask me for the setup walkthrough and I will show you the exact tracking I would install for your estimate form.

Contractor Advertising Rules
Rules I work within for roofers
Roofing ads sit under contractor licensing rules, platform policies on home services and insurance-related wording, and some local rules on how work can be advertised. Those limits change the copy and the offers, so I check them before any ad goes live.
I treat them as marketing considerations only. Whether an ad meets your contractor license terms and local rules is a call for you and your counsel, and I will not tell you an ad is compliant.

- License number and wording checked before launch
- Insurance-claim language reviewed against platform policy
- No promises about insurance payouts in ad copy
- Your licensing and counsel make the final call
How I Report to an Owner
The one-page readout I send you
Every month you get one page: spend by job type, estimates counted separately from signed jobs, the cost of each one and the campaigns behind them. Where an estimate cannot be matched to a source, the page says so rather than guessing.
The readout reads like a ledger, so you can check it against your own estimate log in an afternoon.

How a Campaign Runs
The steps from setup to a stop rule
- Step 01
Read the current spend
I review the accounts, the lead sources and the tracking you already have, and send a written read before you pay anything.
- Step 02
Trace the estimates first
Every form and call is traced to a campaign before any new money goes out.
- Step 03
Test one job type
Each campaign starts with one job type and a small budget, and it grows only after its estimates are matched to signed work.
- Step 04
Stop rule in writing
The cost per signed job that ends a campaign is written down before launch, so no spend runs on hope.
Roofing Advertising Cost
What moves the budget
I quote a fixed price for a written scope after I have looked at your accounts, your estimate volume and the job types you want to grow. A single-crew retail program and a multi-crew claim program are different jobs, so a price list would be wrong for most of the owners who ask.
Ad platform fees are separate from my work and go straight to the platform on your card, so you can see both lines.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.
