Plumber Advertising

Ad spend I can trace

Plumber advertising is the paid search, local social and call campaigns that put a company in front of homeowners who need work now or are planning a project. I run it myself and tie each click and call to a booked job, so the spend has a line you can read.

Plumber Advertising Ideas

Ad spend with no line to a job

Plumbing owners who run ads usually see a dashboard of clicks, calls and cost per click. Fewer can say which ad produced the job that paid for the week, or whether the homeowner reached a page that could book the work.

The spend runs on its own, the account sits with a lead vendor or a freelancer, and the owner pays for leads without knowing which ones turned into a job. That gap is the one I start with.

Plumbing Marketing Companies

What a good ad account shows

A good account names the job each ad sells, the page it lands on and the call or booking it should produce. Emergency campaigns and planned-work campaigns have different jobs, so they run apart, with their own pages and their own budgets.

The owner should be able to open the ad account, see the same numbers I see and read the note on every change.

Plumber Advertising Services

What I run for a plumbing company

Each part of the work ends with something you can open and check.

Emergency search campaigns

Search ads for urgent repairs and drain calls, with schedule settings that match the hours the dispatch line is staffed.

Planned-work campaigns

Search and local social ads for water heaters, repiping and fixture installs, with a landing page for each job and a longer consideration window.

Local social ads

Paid social aimed at homeowners in the company's service area, with creative that shows the trucks, the crew and the process in plain words.

Landing pages per job

Plumber Ads Work

The closest work I have done

I have not run paid campaigns for a plumbing company, so no plumbing ad result is claimed on this page. The closest build I have is GIOSTAR, a Henderson clinic where I built the website, the online booking and the service pages, and a website lead is tracked from the form to a booked consult. That is a medical practice and a website build, not a paid campaign case.

What I bring is the tracking method: each click and call traced to a booked job, and a stop rule for any ad that spends without producing one.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Emergency and Planned Ads

Emergency ads and planned ads, compared

An emergency ad sells a visit within the hour, and the homeowner decides in seconds. A planned-work ad sells a quote, and the homeowner compares companies over several days. Each brings a different kind of job, so each needs its own landing page to be judged fairly.

What the homeowner wantsSomeone out todayA clear quote and a date
What it measuresCalls and booked visits within the dayQuote requests and booked jobs within a month

Plumber Advertising Report

What the monthly readout shows

The readout names the spend, the calls and jobs each ad produced, the pages they landed on and the changes made. It is written so the owner can compare one month with the next without a dashboard login.

A business owner reviewing work on a phone
  • Spend by campaign, with the stop rule that applied
  • Calls and booked jobs by ad, keyword and landing page
  • Changes made this month and the result after each

Plumber Advertising Process

How an ad engagement runs

Each step ends with a document you keep, whether or not you hire me.

  1. Step 01

    Audit the current spend

I read the ad accounts, the tracking and the landing pages, then send a written read of where the money went.

  2. Step 02

    Set the jobs and budget

Jobs, budget, stop rules and conversion events agreed in writing before any new campaign goes live.

  3. Step 03

    Build and test campaigns

Campaigns and landing pages built and checked on phones, with one test running at a time so the result means something.

  4. Step 04

    Confirm the tracking

Test calls and test forms run end to end, so each booked job is counted once and traced to its ad.

  5. Step 05

    Report and adjust monthly

Each readout names what was paused, what was kept and what comes next, with the reason written down.

Plumber Advertising Cost

What moves the price

I quote a fixed price for a written scope after I have seen the accounts and the jobs the company wants. The media budget is paid to the platforms by the company, and my scope is the work around it, so the two numbers are kept apart on every quote.

  • How many campaigns and jobs run at once
  • How many landing pages need building or rebuilding
  • Whether call tracking and booking data already connect
  • How many service areas the ads have to cover
  • How deep the monthly readout goes

Plumbing Ad Rules

Rules I design the ads around

Advertising platforms restrict emergency wording, licensing claims and certain targeting, and licensing boards set rules on how a company describes its work. I treat those as marketing considerations that shape the creative, the offer and the service-area settings.

Whether a given ad meets a licensing or platform rule is a question for the company's counsel and license holder. I flag any ad line they should check before it runs.
