Ads I Trace to Consultations

Therapist advertising for practices that want every ad and listing fee tied to a consultation request. I set up the campaigns, the call and form tracking and a readout you can check, and I keep the tone discreet.

Why Therapist Ad Spend Goes Untraced

Spend that reaches no intake

Most practices pay for ads and directory listings and receive a report of clicks, impressions or leads. The report does not say which listing produced the consultation request that became a client. Calls come in while the clinician is in session, and the front desk logs the caller's name but not the page they read first. The owner sees a monthly charge and no list of new clients to match it against.

How a Therapy Client Chooses a Clinician

Searches, profiles, then one inquiry

A person looking for therapy usually searches by a concern or a specialty and a city, reads a few profiles, checks whether the clinician takes their insurance or offers a sliding scale, and then sends one or two inquiries. The first inquiry often comes from a search result, a directory profile or a referral from a physician or a former client. Ads sit beside all three, and each one needs a path to a consultation request that can be counted.

Therapist Advertising Strategy

One specialty, one offer, one path

I start with one or two specialties the practice already takes, such as anxiety, trauma or couples work, and build one ad group and one landing page for each. Every ad points to the page that matches its concern, with the consultation request above the fold. The first stretch is for learning which specialty fills the calendar, and the budget moves toward that specialty once the readout shows it.

I do not run a campaign for a specialty the clinician does not want more of. A full calendar on one concern can be worse than a quiet one on another, and the ad should follow the clinician's own schedule.

Therapist Advertising Examples

What each therapy campaign includes

These are the parts I build into every therapy campaign, so the readout can name the part that produced each inquiry.

Specialty ad groups

Each specialty gets its own ad group, landing page and report line, so the readout shows which concern filled the calendar.

Insurance and self-pay clarity

Insurance networks and self-pay options appear on the landing page, so a visitor does not learn the fee on the first call.

A short consultation form

The form asks for a first name, a contact method and a few words about the concern. Nothing more is asked before a consultation.

Directory profile review

Each directory profile is checked for accuracy and links to a page on the practice's own site, where the inquiry is tracked.

Referral source on intake

The intake question asks where the caller heard of the practice, and the answer is matched to the ad or listing that produced the call.

Clinician bio pages

Each clinician gets a bio page that lists modalities and licenses, which is what a searcher checks before writing in.

The Closest Therapy Work I Have

The closest work, and what it was not

The closest work I have is GIOSTAR, a Henderson regenerative medicine clinic where I built the website and run its lead tracking, so a website lead is followed from the form to a booked consult. That is a medical practice, not a therapy practice.

None of the five builds in my portfolio is a therapy practice or a therapy ad account, so I claim no therapist ad result. Read the fit that way before you decide.

Every build below is real and every link goes to the live work. Two of the five are full websites I built and still run. The other three are brand and content work, two of them for sites that are in build now, and each card says which.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking

I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Therapist Ad Reporting

One readout the practice can check

The readout uses the practice's own terms. Every number names its source, so it can be checked against the scheduling system and the intake log rather than taken on trust.

Digital Marketing for Therapists

Who I build ads for

I work with solo clinicians, group practices and counseling centers that want new clients from search and from their own site. Most have a schedule that fills by word of mouth, and they want the ads to add to the referral network they already depend on, not replace it.

An owner at work in a modern office

Mental Health Therapist Marketing

Discretion in every ad

Mental health ads reach people at a hard moment, so I write them to inform, not to press. No countdown timers, no fear language and no targeting built on a private condition. The ad says what the practice treats and how to ask a question, and it leaves the visitor to decide when to ask.

What Moves Therapist Ad Costs

Specialty, competition and the inquiry path

The cost of a consultation request depends on how many people search for the specialty, how many practices bid for the same words and how well the landing page turns a visit into an inquiry. Directory fees depend on the listing tier and the city.

I quote a fixed price for a written scope after a free ad read. I do not quote a number before I have seen the current campaigns, because a number without that read would be a guess.

A business owner reviewing work on a phone

Can Therapists Run Google and Meta Ads

Platform rules, not legal advice

Google and Meta review ads for health and mental health services against their own policies, and those policies change. Meta does not allow ads to target people by a health condition, and claims about outcomes can get an ad limited. I check the current policy before a campaign goes live and write offers without outcome promises.

Whether an ad, a bio or a website meets your state licensing board's rules is a question for your counsel or the board, and I will not tell you that it does.

GIOSTAR homepage, a website I built

Are Therapy Directories Worth the Fee

Directory fees weighed against inquiries

A directory listing charges a fee, shares the lead with other clinicians and keeps the profile on the directory's site. A page on your own site has a one-time build cost and no per-lead fee, and the inquiry stays in your name.

Compare the two on one number: the cost of a consultation request you can verify from your own intake log. A listing that brings one inquiry a month still belongs on that comparison, next to its fee.
