Therapist Website Design

A calm site for first steps

Therapist website design is the work of building a practice site that feels calm, explains the first session plainly and makes the inquiry easy on a phone. I design and build it myself, and the domain, hosting and every login stay in your name.

A handsome site that asks too much

Many therapy websites look fine and still lose the person who is deciding whether to reach out. The contact form asks for more than a first step needs, the insurance information is hidden and the page about the first session is missing or vague.

The owner rarely knows, because nobody counts the people who started a form and stopped. The site may be carrying the practice's whole intake, and nobody has measured it.

Therapist Website Design Template

Why a template site feels generic

Website builders offer templates for therapists, and a template is a fair starting point. The trouble is that the pages often look like every other practice, the stock imagery can feel wrong for the work, and the intake forms are generic enough to raise questions about privacy.

A calm site is specific. It shows the clinician, explains the approach in plain words and says what the first session involves, so the visitor can decide without feeling rushed.

Therapist Website Design Services

What I build for a therapy practice

Each piece ends with something you can open, test and keep.

Clinician and approach pages

Pages that introduce each clinician and the approach in plain language, with credentials and licensing shown as the practice's counsel approves them.

First session and insurance pages

A clear explanation of the first session, what to bring, how fees and insurance work and what happens after the first call.

Inquiry form with minimal fields

A short form that asks only for a name, a contact method and a preferred time, with a note on how the message is handled.

Accessible, calm layout

Readable text, strong contrast, keyboard use, form labels and a gentle motion budget, tested against WCAG 2.2 AA.

Privacy-aware setup

Analytics set to store no private details, with the form's data flow written down for the practice's counsel to review.

Handover and ownership

The domain, hosting and every login in the practice's name, with written notes on how to edit a page or a clinician profile.

Best Therapist Website Design

What a good practice site does first

A good practice site answers three questions before a visitor reads anything else: who the clinician is, what the approach is and what happens at the first step. Design comes second. A beautiful page that hides the inquiry form loses the person who was ready to reach out.

The site should also be easy for the practice to keep current. Staff can change a clinician's availability or an insurance panel without calling the designer, and the changes are recorded.

Work I built, live where you can check it

Every build below is real and every link goes to the live work. Two of the five are full websites I built and still run. The other three are brand and content work, two of them for sites that are in build now, and each card says which.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking

I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

He was always the first one in the office, setting the tone with his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. What stood out most was how deeply he cared about every client. He approached each project with thoughtfulness, expertise, and a genuine drive to deliver meaningful results. He combines sharp technical knowledge with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset, which makes him especially effective in the AI space. From what I've seen, Justin knows the AI automation space better than most people I've come across in Las Vegas. He's the kind of person who actually understands the technical side and can explain it without making you feel lost. Good guy, good reputation.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Medical Clinic Website Work

The closest work I have done

The closest build I have is GIOSTAR, a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson. I built its website, its online booking and its service pages, and a website lead is tracked from the form to a booked consult. That is a medical practice, not a therapy practice, so no therapy result is claimed here.

WebVegas, my own Las Vegas web design brand, is the other full site I run. The method carries over: a short booking form, a phone-first layout and logins handed over on day one.

GIOSTAR brand hub, a system I built

Intake Page Design

What an intake page explains

A person who is nervous about reaching out needs to know what happens next. The intake page explains the steps in order: the inquiry, the call or the message back, the first session and how fees and insurance work.

The clinician approves every sentence on that page. I handle the structure, the form and the tracking that shows whether the page is bringing inquiries.

A business owner reviewing work on a phone

Therapist Website Cost

What moves the price

I quote a fixed price for a written scope after I have seen the current site and the practice's intake setup. A solo clinician with five pages is a different job from a group with several clinicians and a secure intake system to connect, so a price list would be wrong for both.

GIOSTAR homepage, a website I built
  • How many clinician and approach pages the site needs
  • Who writes the copy and whether photos have to be produced
  • Intake, scheduling and payment integrations already in use
  • Moving an existing site without losing the search history that works
  • Accessibility work to a stated WCAG level, with a written record
  • Tracking depth, from a monthly page to a review call

Therapist Website Process

How a build runs, step by step

Each step ends with something you can open and look at.

  1. Step 01

    Look at what you have

I grade the current site and send a written read of what works, what is unclear and what is missing, before any payment.

  2. Step 02

    Agree the scope in writing

Pages, forms, integrations and timeline on one page, with the privacy setup written in.

  3. Step 03

    Design and write

I design the key pages and write the copy in plain language. You review real pages in a browser, not static mockups.

  4. Step 04

    Build, connect and test

Forms and analytics tested end to end, every page checked on phones and accessibility measured before launch.

  5. Step 05

    Launch and hand over

The site goes live with redirects from the old one, the logins are handed over and a written note explains how to edit it.

Therapy Website Rules

Rules I design the site around

Licensing boards for counselors, psychologists and social workers set rules on advertising, testimonials and how a practice describes its services. Privacy rules also shape how an intake form can be built and hosted. I treat those as design considerations.

Whether a page, form or host meets those rules is a question for the clinician, the practice's privacy officer and its counsel. I flag each item they should review before launch.

A free website grade first

I do not build sites for free, and I would be wary of anyone who does, because the cost turns up later in the hosting, the lock-in or the upsell. What I do for free is grade the current site and send a written read with the three changes I would make first. You get it the same day.

One Person Designs the Site

One person designs and builds the site

I am Justin Harris. I have built websites and run digital marketing for Las Vegas businesses for fourteen years, and I still build the sites myself. When you hire me, you talk to the person designing the pages and setting up the forms, not to an account manager in the middle.

A reviewer on my Google profile put it plainly: "The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works."
