Salesforce Implementation
Salesforce a Team Can Run
Salesforce implementation builds the org around the way the firm sells, then hands over the admin role in writing. The setup is documented setting by setting, so a new admin can read it without calling anyone.

A Salesforce org is only as useful as its setup. Objects, fields, page layouts, flows and reports have to match the sales steps the team actually takes. When they do not, people work around the system and the data stops meaning anything.
I build the org against a written design, then document each setting in the handover. The firm ends up with a system it can run, and a record of why each part is set the way it is.

An org built to the sale
Org design
Objects, record types and the sales stages written from the firm's real steps, signed off before the build.
Read more →Fields and page layouts
Only the fields the team uses, placed on the layouts where each person will look for them.
Read more →Flows and automation
Routing, reminders and approvals built as flows, each with a name and a note on what it does.
Read more →Data migration
Records cleaned, de-duplicated and loaded in batches, with a sample check after each one.
Read more →Reports and dashboards
A short set of reports for the owner, each one tied to the fields it reads.
Read more →Admin handover
A written guide and working sessions so the firm's own admin can run the org after launch.

Firms on Salesforce that need it fixed
The firm I write for is already on Salesforce, or has chosen it, and needs the org to fit the sales process. Some have a build that was done years ago by a consultant who has since moved on. Others have a new team that cannot find what it needs in the org.
The question is rarely whether Salesforce is the right platform. It is whether the org has an owner who understands it, and whether the next change can be made without breaking the last one.

The Fear of a Consultant Who Leaves
An org only one person understands
The fear is that the org was built by one person, that person has gone, and nobody can explain the flows or the fields. Changes become risky and every fix takes a week. That fear is well founded, because most orgs are built faster than they are documented.
The fix is documentation as a deliverable. Each object, field, flow and report is listed with its purpose and owner, and the admin is trained to make a change from that list. The firm is not left holding a system only the builder can read.

Admin Ownership From Day One
The firm holds the keys
The firm owns the org, the licenses and the admin access from the first day of the project. I work with access granted by the firm, and every change is logged so it can be reviewed by the firm's own admin later.

- The org and subscription held in the firm's name
- Admin access granted to the firm's named person
- Change log kept in the firm's own folder
- Written guide for every custom object and flow
- A handover session with the admin before launch
How a Salesforce Implementation Runs
How the project moves from design to handover
- Step 01
Step one: the sales design
The sales steps are written with the people who sell, and the org design is drawn from them before any setting is changed.
- Step 02
Step two: the sandbox build
The configuration is built in a sandbox copy first, so the live org is changed only after the test passes.
- Step 03
Step three: the migration and test
Records are loaded in batches, and each flow is tested with sample records that match the real cases the team sees.
- Step 04
Step four: the handover
The admin is trained, the guide is handed over and the first month of changes is reviewed together before the project closes.
Configuration Before Custom Code
Settings first, code last
Salesforce offers configuration tools that solve most sales problems without code. The default is to use them, because a configured org is easier for an admin to read and change. Custom code is reserved for a need the configuration cannot meet, and each piece of it is documented with the reason it exists.
This keeps the org cheaper to run over time. A firm that needs a developer for every small change has bought a system it cannot manage, and the plan avoids that trap from the first sprint.

Data Cleanup and Migration
Clean records before they load
Old records carry duplicates, blank fields and accounts that no one owns. Before migration, the records are merged, the blanks are filled or set aside, and each source list is noted. The cleanup is reported as a count before and after, so the owner can see what changed and why.
Records are loaded in batches with a sample check after each batch. A batch that fails a check is fixed and reloaded, so a bad import never reaches the whole org at once.

Permissions and Reports
Access by role, reports by question
Profiles and permission sets decide who sees and changes what. The org uses roles that match the team, so a salesperson sees their own records and a manager sees the team. Each permission set is written down with the people it covers, so access can be reviewed in a few minutes.
Reports are built around the owner's weekly questions. Each one lists the fields it reads, so a figure can be traced back to a record, and a report that nobody opens is removed at the next review.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking
I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

What Clients Said About My Work
Plain answers on hard questions
Yaneliz M. wrote that I "didn't overcomplicate it" when she asked for advice on AI automation for her workload. An org should be explained the same way. An admin should be able to say what each flow does and why it exists, in a sentence, without digging through the build.

Cleanup of an Existing Org
Fixing a build someone else left
An inherited org is audited before any change is made. The audit lists the objects, flows, fields and reports that are in use and those that are not. Unused items are documented and then retired in a planned order, so the change does not break a report or a flow that someone still relies on.
The cleanup ends with the same written guide a new build gets. The firm leaves with an org it can explain, and a list of what was removed and why.

How Much Does Salesforce Consulting Cost
How the quote is built
I quote a fixed price for a written scope after a free look at the org and the sales design. The scope lists the objects, flows, migrations, reports and the handover, so the firm can see the cost of each part before it commits.
The Salesforce licenses are paid to Salesforce and are not part of my fee. The scope shows that cost separately so the firm can compare the total with its budget.

- Org design and number of objects
- Flows and automation built
- Records to clean and migrate
- Reports, dashboards and admin handover
