A WordPress Site You Control
As a WordPress developer in Las Vegas, I build, clean up and take over WordPress sites for Valley businesses. You own the domain, the hosting and every login, and you can see what each page does.

A site held together by plugins nobody can explain
Most WordPress sites I am asked to look at have the same history. A developer built it a few years ago, someone added a plugin for the contact form, another for the slider, a third to fix what the second broke, and a fourth to make the site faster.
Now there are thirty plugins, two of them abandoned by their authors, and the site takes a long breath before it loads. Nobody on the owner's team can say which plugin does what, so nobody touches anything.
The owner usually describes the problem in business terms, not technical ones. The site cost real money, it has been live for years, and when they ask what it did last quarter the answer is a screenshot or a shrug. Updates are scary because the last one took the contact form down for a weekend.

Who Holds the Keys to My WordPress Site
Who holds the keys
A hacked page or a spam redirect in search results turns up eventually, and the person who could fix it is the developer who stopped answering email.
There is often a second problem under the first. The hosting account is in the developer's name, the administrator login belongs to an email address at the developer's old agency, and the domain is registered through a reseller the owner has never heard of.
WordPress itself is open source, so the site is portable by design. The way it was set up made it a hostage.
I take on WordPress work for exactly this kind of site, and for new builds where the owner wants to avoid ending up there.

WordPress Developer Las Vegas Services
One developer who answers for the whole site
I am Justin Harris. I have worked with Las Vegas businesses for fourteen years and I do the WordPress work myself: the theme, the plugin choices, the forms, the backups, the tracking. When something breaks, the builder is the person who fixes it.
Every WordPress job comes with three commitments. You own it: the domain is registered to you, the hosting is in your name or handed over on request, and you hold the administrator login on day one.
You can check it, which means each page is tracked from the first visit to the form or call it produces, and I show you the numbers in your own accounts.
You can change it, which means I build with the block editor and a small set of well-known plugins so your team can edit a headline without opening a ticket.

WordPress Development
How the site stays lean
WordPress rewards restraint. The best sites I have built run on a lean theme and a short plugin list where every plugin has a stated job. I keep a written list of what is installed and why, and hand it to you.

- You own the domain, hosting and every login
- A written list of every plugin and what it does
- Backups tested by restoring one, not just switched on
- Edits your team can make without me

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking
I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

He was always the first one in the office, setting the tone with his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. What stood out most was how deeply he cared about every client. He approached each project with thoughtfulness, expertise, and a genuine drive to deliver meaningful results. He combines sharp technical knowledge with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset, which makes him especially effective in the AI space. Any organization looking for thoughtful, reliable, and highly skilled AI consulting support would be in great hands working with him!

From what I've seen, Justin knows the AI automation space better than most people I've come across in Las Vegas. He's the kind of person who actually understands the technical side and can explain it without making you feel lost. Good guy, good reputation.

I've Known Justin for a while now and he really knows his stuff when it comes to AI consulting. If people in Las Vegas were to ask me for recommendations in this space, he's the best guy for the job, hands down.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Known Justin for a few years now. Guy knows the AI space better than most people I've come across, especially here in Las Vegas where there's no shortage of people claiming to be experts. He actually understands how AI automation works at a practical level, not just the theory. The kind of person who gives you a straight answer with kindness and patience

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

WordPress Web Design
What I do on WordPress
Most WordPress jobs fall into one of the pieces below. Each ends with something you can open and inspect.
New WordPress builds
A site designed around your buyer on a lean theme, with forms and tracking tested before launch. The broader picture is on my web design page.
Read more →Plugin and access audit
I list every plugin, theme and user account, mark what is abandoned or duplicated, and send you a written read before I change anything.
Speed and cleanup
Heavy images, stacked plugins and slow hosting are measured on a phone, fixed one at a time, and measured again so the change is visible.
Security and backups
Updates, a login that is not guessable, spam and malware checks, and backups I have restored at least once. The wider picture is on my website security page.
Read more →Rescue from a developer who held the keys
I take over hosting, domain and logins, move the site to an account in your name and document what I found.
Migration to WordPress
Leaving Wix or Squarespace without losing your search history, with a redirect map you can read. See WordPress migration.

Stay on WordPress or leave WordPress
| Stay on WordPress | Rebuild on WordPress | Move off WordPress (picked when it fits) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| When it fits | The theme is sound and the trouble is plugins, speed or access | The design is dated or the structure fights the content | The site is five pages and nobody edits it, or the app needs custom code |
| What I check first | Plugin list, PHP version, last backup, who holds the logins | Which pages earn visits today, so they survive | What the site must do that WordPress does badly |
| What you keep | Pages, search history and your admin | Search history through redirects | Domain, content and logins, handed over in writing |
| Risk | Years of small neglected updates | Losing rankings if redirects are skipped | Rebuilding something that worked |
WordPress Developer Las Vegas Process
How a WordPress job runs
Every WordPress project runs the same steps, and each one leaves an artifact. The launch date is written into the scope before work starts.
- Step 01
Read what is installed
With read access first, I export the plugin and user lists and note the PHP version, theme and hosting. You get a plain read of the risks.
- Step 02
Agree the scope in writing
Pages, features, integrations and date on one page. If scope changes later, it changes on that page first.
- Step 03
Build on a staging copy
Work happens on a private copy, so the live site never breaks. You review real pages in a browser and mark changes on them.
- Step 04
Connect and test
Forms are submitted, emails arrive, phone numbers tap on mobile, tracking fires and pages are checked for speed and accessibility.
- Step 05
Launch with redirects
The change goes live with redirects from every old address, so Google and your past customers land on the right page.
- Step 06
Maintain and report
Updates, backups and a short monthly report: what was visited, what produced calls and forms, and what I changed.
WordPress Developer Cost
What moves the price
I quote a fixed price for a written scope after I have looked at what you need. WordPress work ranges from an afternoon of cleanup to a custom booking system, so I do not publish a list. Here is what moves a quote, so you can judge mine and anyone else's.

- How many unique page designs the site needs, more than how many pages
- Whether the theme is custom or an existing one reworked
- Plugins that need configuring or replacing, such as booking, membership or forms
- Integrations with a CRM, payments or a client portal
- Moving content and keeping search history through redirects
- Whether you want ongoing updates and backups handled by me
Free WordPress Developer Las Vegas
What I do for free, and what I do not
I do not build WordPress sites for free, and I would be careful with anyone who offers to. The cost shows up later as lock-in, a hosting bill in their name or an upsell.
What I do for free is a look at the site you have. I grade it, check how it loads on a phone and how it appears on Google, and send you a written read with the three changes I would make first. Some owners take that list to their own developer, which is fine by me. You usually have it the same day.

Freelance WordPress Developer Las Vegas
Who hires me
The owners I work with run professional practices and larger service companies: law firms, accountants, medical and dental offices, med spas and home-services operators with several crews. They have a WordPress site that matters to the business and nobody in the office who can maintain it. Some have used a freelance WordPress developer before and lost them, and the site came with them.
A freelancer is a fair choice when the person is reachable and leaves you holding the keys. That is how I work. You get one developer, a written record of the site and logins in your name, so if you ever part ways the next person can pick it up on the first day.

Best WordPress Developer Las Vegas
How to choose one
People ask me what separates a good WordPress developer from a bad one, and I tell them to check four things. These work whether you hire me or not.
Ask who holds the hosting and domain, and get the answer in writing. Ask to see a site they built, live, and open it on your phone. Ask what happens when a plugin update breaks something, and whether there is a staging copy to test on first. Ask how they would show you what the site did last month.
A developer who answers all four plainly is worth talking to. One who changes the subject on the second or fourth is selling a build, not a result you can check.
