Why Landing Pages Do Not Convert
Ad spend goes in and nobody can say which page failed
Most owners who pay for ads have one unanswered question. Money goes to Google or Meta every month, clicks arrive somewhere, and a number comes back that nobody can break down. Was the ad weak or the page? Which offer worked? Which phone number rang? The agency report shows clicks and impressions, which are what cost money, and very little of what happened afterward.
The page those clicks land on is usually the home page. A buyer who clicked an ad about one service arrives at a page about everything, hunts for what they came for and leaves. The report counts the click as a success.
The person who runs the ads and the person who built the page rarely see each other's numbers, so each blames the other and the owner pays both.

Landing Page Design
One person builds the page and reports on it
I am Justin Harris. I have worked in Las Vegas digital marketing for fourteen years, built for more than 300 Valley businesses and I am rated five stars on Google. I design, write, build, connect and measure each page myself. Every page has one job: one offer, one audience, one action.
You own the page, the domain and the tracking account, so every number in my report is visible in your own analytics. Devin R., who runs GIOSTAR in Henderson, wrote that I made "several critical enhancements to the site" after launch. Pages are never finished. They are measured, changed and measured again.

- One page, one offer, one action
- Forms and calls tracked to the page that produced them
- You own the page, the domain and the analytics
- A plain report showing what each page did

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

From what I've seen, Justin knows the AI automation space better than most people I've come across in Las Vegas. He's the kind of person who actually understands the technical side and can explain it without making you feel lost. Good guy, good reputation.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Known Justin for a few years now. Guy knows the AI space better than most people I've come across, especially here in Las Vegas where there's no shortage of people claiming to be experts. He actually understands how AI automation works at a practical level, not just the theory. The kind of person who gives you a straight answer with kindness and patience

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Landing Page Design Services Near Me
What I build
Each page type ends in something you can open and test.
Ad landing pages
A page per ad group, matched to the words in the ad and tracked on its own, so you know which page earned the spend and which wasted it.
Service pages
A page for one service you want more of, answering the questions a buyer asks before calling, with the next step visible on a phone.
Read more →Lead magnet pages
A page offering a guide or checklist for a contact detail, with a form that delivers and a follow-up message that actually arrives.
Event and webinar pages
The date, the reason to attend and a short registration form, with reminders connected so people turn up on the day.
Offer pages
A page for a limited offer with a clear end date, built so the offer disappears when the date passes and nobody is misled.
Booking pages
A page that ends in a calendar so the visitor books a consultation without a phone call, with a confirmation and a reminder sent.

How a landing page project runs
Each step ends with something you can read. The launch date is written into the scope before work starts.
- Step 01
Define the offer
I ask who the visitor is and what you want them to do. You get my summary in writing before any design, so a misunderstanding shows up early.
- Step 02
Read the ad and data
I look at ad copy, keywords and any existing numbers, so the page matches what brings people to it and nothing about the promise changes.
- Step 03
Write the copy
Headline, subline, proof, objections and form, written from the buyer's questions and your reviews. You approve the words before design starts.
- Step 04
Design and build
Phone first, then desktop. You review a real page on a private link, click through it and mark changes directly on the page.
- Step 05
Connect and test
Form, phone number and tracking connected. I submit the form, call the number and check that each action appears in your own analytics.
- Step 06
Launch and report
The page goes live and ad spend can start. You get a report on what it did, where visitors left and what I would change next.
Landing Page Creator
Page-builder tool, template, agency or me
| Page-builder tool | Template | Agency | Me | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Best when | You have the time to learn it and the offer is simple and standard | You want something live quickly and the offer is generic | You want a large team and can pay for the overhead | You want a measured page and one person who answers for it |
| Copy | You write every word and decide what to say first | Placeholder text that you must replace carefully | A copywriter, often a different person from the builder | Written by me from the buyer's questions and your reviews |
| Tracking | Basic, set up by you, often missing form and call data | Often not connected to anything until you do it | A monthly PDF you cannot check against your accounts | Connected and verified in your own analytics accounts |
| Ownership | The tool's hosting, with limits on moving the page | Depends who set it up and whose account holds it | Sometimes the agency holds the domain or hosting | Domain, page and analytics all in your name from day one |
| Changes later | Fast, if you stay fluent in the tool | Limited to what the template allows | A ticket, a queue and a wait for the next sprint | I update it or your team does, with a note on how |
| Honest limit | Pages tend to look like everyone else's | Fits a generic offer and little more | Overhead is large for a single page | I take a limited number of projects at a time |
Landing Page Design for Ads
The page behind each kind of traffic
| Search ads | Social ads | Email links | Direct or referral | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visitor mood | Looking for an answer right now and willing to read | Scrolling, interrupted by an image, not looking for anything | Already knows you and expects something specific | Curious, sent by a person they trust |
| Headline | Repeats the searched words so they know it is right | Continues the image and the offer that stopped them | Matches the link text they clicked in the email | Says plainly who the page is for and what it offers |
| Copy length | Medium, answers the questions a searcher has | Short, one promise and one reason to act | Short, goes straight to the offer | Medium, builds trust before asking |
| Form | Short, asks for contact details only | Very short, easy to complete with a thumb | Only the fields you do not already have | Short, with a phone number beside it |
| What I check | That every keyword group has a matching page | That the page matches the creative and the offer | That the headline matches the email link text | That proof sits beside each claim a visitor will doubt |
| Report shows | Visits and actions for each ad group | Visits and actions for each creative | Clicks and actions for each send | Source and action for each page |
Landing Page Headlines
Six headline patterns and when each fits
I choose a pattern from how the visitor arrived, write several versions and pick one. These are the six I use.
Name what they searched
Repeat the searched service in plain words, so the visitor knows at once that they are in the right place and keeps reading.
State the outcome
Describe what the buyer wants to be true afterward, in their terms, without promising a result that depends on things you do not control.
Ask the real question
Put the buyer's actual worry into words, taken from calls, emails and reviews, then answer it on the page in plain language.
Lead with the offer
For a limited offer or a free consultation, the offer comes first with its condition beside it, so nothing feels hidden to the reader.
Lead with proof
Where trust is the barrier, a real and current review or a fact the buyer can check opens the page and earns the next paragraph.
Say who it is for
Name the profession or type of business, so the right visitor stops and the wrong one moves on without wasting a click.
Landing Page Conversion Mistakes
Six ways a page loses visitors
None of these is exotic. Each is easy to fix once somebody looks.
Ads sent to the home page
The visitor arrives at a page built for everyone and has to hunt for what they came for, and many leave before finding it.
Too many choices
A menu, three offers and four buttons each pull the visitor away from the one action the page exists to get.
A form that asks too much
Every extra field lowers the number of people who finish, so each one has to earn its place with a reason.
Slow loading
Large images and unneeded scripts make a page slow on a phone, where most visitors arrive, and no copy can fix that.
A silent failure
A form that does not deliver, or a number that cannot be tapped, loses leads without ever showing up in a report.
Nobody reading the numbers
A page that is never reviewed drifts away from the traffic it receives. I send a plain report so the numbers get read.
Landing Page A/B Testing
When a test is worth running
| Traffic level | What a test can tell you | What I recommend | What I report | Risk if ignored |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Very low | Almost nothing, because a handful of visits is noise | Make the change I believe in and measure before and after | The before and after numbers, side by side | Acting on a result that is only chance |
| Low | Only large differences between versions | Test one big change, such as the headline or the offer | The result with a plain note on how certain it is | Declaring a winner far too early |
| Moderate | Medium differences between versions | Test one element at a time, in a written order | Which version won, by how much and how sure I am | Changing several things at once and learning nothing |
| High | Small differences become visible | A sequence of single-change tests over time | A running record of every test and its result | Running tests with no stated reason or expectation |
| Any level | Whether tracking works at all | Check the data before any test begins | A tracking check, in writing, before the test | Testing on broken data and trusting it |
| Short offers | Little, because the window closes quickly | Build the page well once and skip the test | The numbers when the offer ends | Spending more on testing than the offer is worth |
Landing Page Design Services Cost
What moves the price
I quote a fixed price for a written scope after I have looked at the offer and the ad.

- How many distinct pages or versions are needed
- Whether the copy exists or must be written
- Photography, video or illustration to be produced
- Forms, calendars, payments or a CRM to connect
- Call tracking and analytics setup
- Whether a test between two versions is in the scope
Free Landing Page Design Services
What I do for free
Free landing page design services usually mean a template on a builder's free plan, or an agency that expects a long ad contract. I do not design pages for free, and I would be careful with anyone who does.
What I do for free is look at your page, your ad and your form and tell you in writing what I would change first. Many owners take that note and make the changes in their own builder. If a template will do the job, I say so.
