Next JS Development Agency Las Vegas

Fast pages the editors can still change

As a Next js development agency in Las Vegas of one, I build Next.js sites for Valley firms myself and settle where the content lives in week one. The code, hosting and domain stay in the owner's name.

Next JS Development

A fast site the marketing team cannot change

Next.js is a framework for building websites in React. It produces fast pages, handles images well and gives a developer a lot of control. Many of the quickest sites on the web use it, which is why agencies and in-house teams reach for it. The complaint I hear after a Next.js build is about editing.

The site loads in a blink and a developer is proud of it. Then the practice manager wants to change the hours, add a provider or swap a photo, and learns that the text lives inside code files. Every change goes through a developer, a deploy and a wait. The company bought speed and lost the ability to run its own website.

Next JS Content Editing

Where the content lives

A Next.js site can be built so staff edit it without code, and it can be built so they cannot. The difference is a decision made in the first week about where the content lives.

There are three common answers: a hosted content system with a friendly editor, plain files that a technical person edits, or a database with a custom admin screen. Each suits a different team, and the wrong one is expensive to swap later.

Most owners are never asked, and the cost of getting it wrong arrives a few weeks after launch, when the first real edit is needed. I would rather have that conversation at the start, with the person who will do the editing sitting in on it, than explain a developer invoice later for changing a phone number.

One builder, and a site I can show you

I am Justin Harris. I have worked in Las Vegas digital marketing for fourteen years and I build the site myself. I can show you a Next.js build I made: giostarwellness.com, the site for a Henderson clinic, is a Next.js project hosted on Vercel.

It carries the service pages, online booking, financing and a blog, and a website lead is tracked from the form to a booked consult. The source lives in a GitHub repository named giostar-web. For every Next.js project you own the code repository, the Vercel account, the domain and every login from the first day.

I write down how to deploy, where the content lives and how to roll back a bad release, so the next developer, or you, can take over. Nothing about the site depends on me being reachable.

Two of the five builds are full websites I built and still run. GIOSTAR is a Next.js build on Vercel. The other cards show brand and content work, two for sites in build now.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking

I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

What I build in Next.js

Next.js projects fall into five jobs.

Booking and intake flows

Content that staff can edit

Content held in a content system or in files an editor can change safely, set up in week one.

Integrations

CRM, payments, analytics and email. Larger custom builds are covered under web development.

Speed, checks and rescue

Next JS Developer

Editing without a developer

This is the band that decides whether a Next.js site works for a business. Before I write a page I settle each of these with the person who will edit it.

GIOSTAR brand hub, a system I built
  • Where the text lives: a content system, markdown files or a database
  • Which parts an editor changes alone, and which need a developer
  • Whether the editor sees a preview before anything goes live
  • How a change is published and how it is undone
  • Who can approve a change, and where the record of it sits
  • Where the editor goes when something looks wrong

Next JS vs WordPress

When Next.js is the right tool

I recommend Next.js when speed, custom flows or a long life matter. I recommend something simpler when the site is a handful of pages edited by one person.

How Long Does Next.js Development Take?

How a build runs

Every project runs five steps, and each ends with something you can open.

  1. Step 01

    Decide where the content lives

A short written plan with the editors, before design.

  2. Step 02

    Agree the scope

Pages, flows, integrations and a date on one page.

  3. Step 03

    Design real pages

The key pages in a browser on a private address, which you mark up directly.

  4. Step 04

    Build and test

Every form submitted, every page tested on phones, speed and accessibility measured.

  5. Step 05

    Launch and hand over

Redirects, a deploy and rollback note, and a monthly report on what the site did.

How Much Does Next.js Development Cost?

What moves the price

I quote a fixed price for a written scope. Vercel and any content system bill their own plans to you directly, so I list those next to my fee.

A business owner reviewing work on a phone
  • Unique page designs and custom components
  • Booking, payment or portal flows
  • The content system and how many content types it holds
  • Moving an existing site with redirects
  • Integrations with a CRM or other tools
  • Documentation and staff training
