Angular Development Company
Angular Upgrades With a Written Path
As an Angular development company of one, I take Angular apps that fell several versions behind and bring them current in steps you can inspect. You own the repository and logins, and I do the work myself.

Angular Upgrade Debt
An Angular app several versions behind
The operations lead who calls me about Angular is rarely asking for a new app. It exists, it runs the business, and it has been left alone for two or three years. Now a security scan flags old packages, the one developer who understood it has left, and nobody wants to be the person who touches it and breaks the quoting screen.
That is upgrade debt. Angular ships a major version about every six months, each supported for a limited time. An app that skips releases does not stay still. It drifts toward a version nobody patches, and the longer the gap, the more each step costs.
The wound underneath is the one I hear in every vendor story: someone was paid to build it, it went live, and nobody can show you the state it is in. You cannot tell whether the app is safe, how far behind it is or what an upgrade would take. I fix that first, in writing, before I change a line.

AngularJS Development
AngularJS and Angular are different things
AngularJS is the original version one framework, created around 2009 by Miško Hevery and Adam Abrons and later maintained by Google. Angular, from version 2 onward, is a complete rewrite in TypeScript. They share a name and little else. Google ended support for AngularJS in January 2022, so an app still on it gets no security fixes from the project.
If your app is on AngularJS, the question is not whether to leave but how. I look at how big the app is and how much of it is still being changed. Some apps are worth migrating screen by screen while they keep running. Others are less costly to rebuild around a cleaner design, and I tell you which in the written assessment.

Angular Development Company Services
What I do with Angular
The work falls into five jobs. Each ends in something you can open and check.
Version upgrades
I step the app through each major release, run the tests after every step and record what changed, so the upgrade is a series of small, reversible moves.
AngularJS migration
A plan to move an old app to current Angular in stages while the business keeps using it.
New Angular builds
Internal tools, dashboards and portals for teams that want one prescribed structure.
Read more →Code audit
A written read of dependencies, structure, tests and security, with file names, before any work is quoted.
Read more →Testing and pipeline
Automated tests and a deploy pipeline so a change can be released and rolled back by your own people.
Hand-over
A guide to the repository, a recorded walkthrough and a first change made by your developer with me watching. I also build the public site around the app, covered on my web design page.

GIOSTAR: the clinic website, booking and lead tracking
I built and run giostarwellness.com for a regenerative medicine and wellness clinic in Henderson: every service page, online booking, financing and a blog. A website lead is tracked end to end, from the form to a booked consult to an active patient, with no manual steps. I also built its live brand hub, so every page, post and print piece pulls the same colours, type and rules.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

From what I've seen, Justin knows the AI automation space better than most people I've come across in Las Vegas. He's the kind of person who actually understands the technical side and can explain it without making you feel lost. Good guy, good reputation.

I've Known Justin for a while now and he really knows his stuff when it comes to AI consulting. If people in Las Vegas were to ask me for recommendations in this space, he's the best guy for the job, hands down.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Known Justin for a few years now. Guy knows the AI space better than most people I've come across, especially here in Las Vegas where there's no shortage of people claiming to be experts. He actually understands how AI automation works at a practical level, not just the theory. The kind of person who gives you a straight answer with kindness and patience

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Angular Upgrade Path
The upgrade path, version by version
| Where the app is | Risk | What I do | What you receive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Current or one major behind | Low | Upgrade in one step, run the tests, release | A short note listing what changed |
| Two to four majors behind | Medium | Upgrade one major at a time, test after each | A log of every step and how to reverse it |
| Five or more majors behind | High | Audit first, then decide: step up or rebuild the weak parts | A written plan with both options costed |
| Still on AngularJS | Unsupported | Assess size and activity, then migrate in stages or rebuild | A migration plan you can hand to any developer |
| No tests and no pipeline | Hidden | Add tests around the screens that matter before touching them | A test suite and a one-command deploy |
| Several apps on different versions | Inconsistent | Pick one target version and move them in a planned order | One upgrade calendar covering every app |
Is Angular Still Worth Using in 2026
Is Angular still a good choice
Yes, for the right kind of app. Google actively maintains it, it releases on a regular schedule and recent versions have simplified how apps are structured. It is a strong fit for large internal systems, many forms and tables, and teams that value one way of doing things.
It is a poorer fit for a small marketing site, where a heavy framework adds cost and nothing else. When a client asks for Angular on a site that does not need it, I say so, and point them to my web design page or to React. If your team writes Angular today, staying is usually less costly than switching.

Modern Angular Features
What recent Angular versions changed
Recent Angular releases have made apps simpler to structure. Standalone components remove much of the module boilerplate that older apps carry, and signals give a clearer way to track changing data on a screen. Neither is a reason to rewrite a working app, but both change what an upgrade can gain.
When I upgrade an app, I move it to the current structure only where the code is already being touched. Screens nobody edits stay as they are. That keeps each step small and keeps the cost down, and the written plan says which screens fall into which group, so you can see why.

Angular Testing and Deploy Pipeline
The safety net I add before upgrading
An upgrade without tests is a guess. Before any version changes, I write automated checks around the screens that carry the business, such as quoting, ordering and sign-in, so a break shows up the same day.
I also set up a pipeline that builds the app, runs the tests and publishes to a private address on every change. Your own developer can run it with one command, and every release has a log you can open. This is the part owners tell me they wish their last vendor had left behind.

Angular or React for a Business App
Angular versus React, plainly
Which is better, Angular or React? Angular is a complete framework with a prescribed structure, which suits large teams that want every screen built the same way. React is a lighter library that suits products wanting flexibility and the largest hiring pool. Does Netflix use React or Angular? Netflix has described using React in parts of its web interface, though a large company's choice tells you little about yours.
I decide on three things: what your team already writes, how long the app must live, and how many people will touch it. The comparison is on my React page if you are weighing a move.

Angular Development Company Process
How an Angular project runs
Every project follows the same steps, each ending with something you can open. The dates are written into the scope.
- Step 01
Read access and a first look
I need read access to the repository and the deploy settings. I run the build, read the code and list what I find.
- Step 02
Written assessment
Versions, dependencies, tests and risks in plain language, with the upgrade path costed. You get this before you pay for the work.
- Step 03
Scope agreed on one page
What changes, in what order and how each step is reversed. A later change changes that page first.
- Step 04
Upgrade in steps
Each step is deployed to a private address and tested. The release note records the version and what was checked.
- Step 05
Hand over
Repository, hosting and logins are already in your name. I add the guide and recorded walkthrough.
- Step 06
How remote work runs
A weekly call, a shared tracker with every task, and a screen recording with each step. Most clients never meet me in person.
Angular Development Company Cost
What moves the price
Searches for angular development company pricing and how much does it cost usually want a number. I quote a fixed price for a written scope after the assessment, so the figure you agree is the figure you pay. A price list would be wrong for a one-version bump and for an AngularJS migration alike. These are the things that move it.

- How many major versions behind the app is
- Whether it is on AngularJS or current Angular
- How many screens and how much custom logic
- Whether tests exist already
- Third-party libraries that have no upgrade path
- Hosting and pipeline changes that come with it
Best Angular Development Company
How to judge any Angular developer
If you are comparing the best Angular development company, an affordable one or one near me, ask each candidate the same four questions. Who does the work? Will I own the repository and hosting from day one? Can I see a written upgrade plan before I pay for it? What do I receive when a step finishes?
An answer that includes a monthly retainer before any of those is answered is worth questioning. I answer all four before you commit to anything, and I put them in the scope.
