Elementor Developer

An Elementor site that got slow and fragile

Elementor is a page builder that runs inside WordPress. It lets someone drag sections into place without writing code, which is why so many small business sites are built with it. The same convenience is where the trouble starts.

Every drag-and-drop widget adds markup, every add-on pack adds scripts, and a page that looked fine on launch day can end up loading slowly on a phone two years later.

The owners who contact me describe the same pattern. The site was built by a freelancer or a template shop. Someone on the team edits it now and then, and every edit risks pushing a section out of line on mobile. The homepage has five different fonts and four shades of the brand color because each change was made in the moment.

Why Is My Elementor Site Slow

Why the site slowed down

Nobody can say which add-ons the site depends on, and the Pro license was bought under an email address that no longer exists.

None of that means Elementor is a bad choice. It means the site was built for launch day and never for the years after. I clean those sites up, and I build new ones so they stay tidy.

What I do with Elementor, and what I check first

I am Justin Harris, and I have built websites and run marketing for Las Vegas businesses for fourteen years. I do the Elementor work myself.

Before I change anything on an existing site, I open it on a phone, run a speed test and list what is installed: the Elementor version, whether the Pro license is active and in whose name, which add-on packs load, and how many of them the pages actually use. That list becomes the first thing you receive.

You own the domain, the hosting and the logins. I set up global colors, fonts and spacing in Elementor's site settings so a change to the brand color happens in one place. I use the theme builder for headers and footers so they are consistent, and I leave you a short page explaining how to edit safely.

  • Global fonts and colors set once, used everywhere
  • A list of every add-on and the pages that use it
  • The Pro license registered to your email
  • A mobile check on a real phone before launch

Work I built, live where you can check it

Two of these builds are full websites I built and run. The others are brand and content work, and each card says which. My portfolio does not include a build I can name as Elementor, so what I show you is the work and the process I would apply.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

From what I've seen, Justin knows the AI automation space better than most people I've come across in Las Vegas. He's the kind of person who actually understands the technical side and can explain it without making you feel lost. Good guy, good reputation.

I've Known Justin for a while now and he really knows his stuff when it comes to AI consulting. If people in Las Vegas were to ask me for recommendations in this space, he's the best guy for the job, hands down.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

Known Justin for a few years now. Guy knows the AI space better than most people I've come across, especially here in Las Vegas where there's no shortage of people claiming to be experts. He actually understands how AI automation works at a practical level, not just the theory. The kind of person who gives you a straight answer with kindness and patience

Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Elementor Website Design

What is included

These are the jobs I take on most. Each ends with something you can open and check.

Speed and cleanup

I remove unused add-ons, compress images, trim the markup that heavy sections produce and measure the result on a phone before and after.

Rebuild without a rebuild

Often the pages can stay and the design system underneath them gets repaired: fonts, colors, spacing and the mobile layout.

New Elementor build

A site designed around your buyer, with a lean theme, theme-builder templates and forms tested end to end. My web design page has the longer version.

Keep Elementor, rebuild lean or leave Elementor

I decide between three paths and I tell you which, in writing, before any work is booked.

Elementor Developer Las Vegas Process

How a job runs

The steps are the same on every Elementor project. The date is written into the scope.

  1. Step 01

    Test on a phone

I run the speed test and open every key page on a phone. You get screenshots and the numbers.

  2. Step 02

    List what is installed

Plugins, add-ons, theme and the license holder, with a note on each.

  3. Step 03

    Fix on a staging copy

I work on a private copy, so the live site stays up while I repair it.

  4. Step 04

    Check and compare

Same tests again, side by side with the first ones, so you can see what changed.

  5. Step 05

    Hand over

Logins, the license and a one-page editing guide go to you the same day the changes go live.

Elementor Developer Cost

What moves the price

I quote a fixed price for a written scope after I look at the site. These are the factors.

An owner at work in a modern office
  • How many page templates need repair, more than how many pages
  • How many add-on packs have to be replaced
  • Whether forms, booking or a store depend on Elementor
  • Whether the work is cleanup or a new build
  • Redirects needed if URLs change
  • Ongoing updates and backups handled by me

Affordable Elementor Developer Las Vegas

What I do for free, and what is affordable

I will not build a site for free, and I do not quote a cheap number to win a job and then add to it. Affordable, for me, means a fixed quote for a written scope, with the cheapest useful thing done first.

The free part is a look at your site. I grade it, test it on a phone and send you the three changes I would make first. Some owners fix those themselves.

How to choose a developer, and what Reddit gets right

People often search for Elementor developers on Reddit before they call anyone. Threads there are good at warning you about add-on bloat and about developers who disappear. They cannot tell you whether a particular person is reachable, so check that yourself.

Ask to see a live site they built and open it on your phone. Ask who holds the Pro license and the hosting. Ask whether they work on a staging copy. A developer who answers those three plainly is worth hiring, me included.
