What the audit reads
An SEO audit is a read of how a website is set up for search, written down so the owner can see what is working, what is broken and what to fix first. It covers the pages a buyer lands on, the way the site is built, the business profile and the listings that Google reads alongside the site.
A good audit ends with a list you can act on, not with a request to sign for the work. The findings come first, and the decision about the work comes after you have read them.

SEO Audit Services
The areas the audit covers
| Area | What is checked | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| Pages | Titles, descriptions, headings and the service each page names | A page-by-page list with the fix |
| Technical | Crawling, indexing, redirects, speed on a phone and the sitemap | Each issue with the page and the severity |
| Content | Whether each page answers the question a buyer asks | The pages to rewrite, in order |
| Profile | Business profile details matched to the site | A field check with the differences |
| Listings | Name, address and phone across the main directories | A citation sheet with the mismatches |
| Measurement | Whether calls and forms can be traced to a page | A note on what is tracked and what is not |
SEO Audit Las Vegas Findings
Findings in plain language
Each finding in the report is written in plain language and names the page it concerns. It says what the problem is, why it matters to a buyer and what fixing it involves. Technical words are explained the first time they appear.
A finding that cannot be checked is labelled as a question, not presented as a fact.

- The page or setting the finding concerns
- What is wrong, in one sentence
- Why it matters to a person searching
- How to fix it, and whether it needs a developer
- How severe it is, judged against the rest of the list
Audit Findings Ranked by Impact
What to fix first
Not every finding is worth fixing at once. A broken contact form on the main service page matters more than a long meta description on an old blog post. The audit ranks findings by how much each one stands between a buyer and the call, then by how hard it is to change.
The ranking is a judgment, and I write down the reasoning so you can disagree with it.

Technical SEO Checks
How the site is built for search
The technical part of the audit checks whether Google can find the pages you want found, read them and load them on a phone. It looks at the sitemap, the robots file, the status of each address, redirects, duplicate addresses and the speed of the pages buyers use most.
Google's canonical guidance says that when no canonical version is set, Google chooses the version it considers best to show. The audit flags those cases so the choice is made on purpose.

Content and Page Review
Whether the pages answer the buyer
Most audits stop at titles and descriptions. The page review asks whether a buyer who lands on a service page learns, in the first screen, what the service is, who it is for and how to reach you.
Pages that repeat the same paragraph across several services, or that name no service at all, are listed with a suggested rewrite direction rather than a full rewrite.

Business Profile and Listings Review
Details that match the site
The business profile and the listings are often the first thing a local buyer sees. The audit compares their name, address, phone, hours, categories and website link with the site, and notes every place they disagree.
Google's Business Profile guidelines ask that a listing reflect the business accurately. The audit checks that against what the site says, and nothing in the report asks the owner to change a listing without a reason.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Knew Justin before he started building AI systems for businesses, and watching what he's put together is genuinely impressive. He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

How an Audit Is Delivered
Five steps, each with a file you can open
The audit follows a fixed order, and the report arrives before any work is proposed. You can read it, share it or take it to another provider.
1. Confirm the scope
Which pages, which profile and which listings are in the audit, written down before the reading starts.
2. Read the site and the profile
The technical checks, the page review and the profile field check are run and the notes are kept.
3. Write the findings
Each finding is written in plain language, with the page it concerns and a severity.
4. Rank the fixes
The findings are ordered by impact and effort, and the reasoning for the order is stated.
5. Walk through the report
A call goes through the findings with you. Questions are answered in writing, and nothing is pushed.
Competitor Comparison in an Audit
Comparing with the businesses that rank
Some owners want to know how their site compares with the businesses that already appear for the searches they care about. A comparison is useful when it is limited to a few named businesses, the same searches and the same date, and when it shows what those sites do that yours does not.
The comparison does not copy a competitor's content or claim to know why a competitor ranks. It lists the pages, the topics covered and the structure, so the owner can see the gap and decide what to close first. The list of businesses is agreed before the comparison runs, so the choice cannot be made to flatter the result.

Local Intent in an Audit
Searches that name a place
A Valley buyer often adds a place to the search: a service and a city, or a service and a neighborhood. The audit checks whether the site names the service and the area in the places a buyer reads, and whether the area named is one the business truly serves.
Pages that list a long set of towns without saying what the business does there are flagged. The fix is usually a plainer service page, not a page for every place name. The check is limited to the places the site already uses, so the audit does not invent pages to fill a gap. Each place name on the list is either backed by a real service area or marked for removal.

Audit Without an Obligation
A report you keep either way
The audit is a standalone deliverable. It is priced on its own, delivered in full and yours to keep whether or not you hire anyone to act on it. I do not hold the findings back to sell the fixes.
If you decide to do the work yourself or with another provider, the report is written so that they can start from it without a call to me first.

SEO Audit Las Vegas Cost
What moves the price
I quote a fixed price for a written audit scope after a free look at the site. A brochure site with a handful of pages and a multi-location business with a long product list need different reads, so a price list would be wrong for at least one of them.

- How many pages and service areas the audit covers
- Whether the business profile and listings are in scope
- Whether a speed test on a phone is included
- How many competing businesses are compared, if any
- Whether a follow-up call to walk through the report is wanted
Affordable SEO Audit Las Vegas
What a fair audit includes
A lower audit price only helps when the report is the same. Ask every provider, me included, which pages they read, whether they check the profile and listings, and whether the findings are ranked.
A report that is a score with a list of generic tips is not an audit of your site, and it should be priced as what it is.

SEO Audit near Me
In person or over a call
I work from Las Vegas and meet owners across the Valley when that helps. Most of the audit is done from the site and the public listings, so a shared document and a call cover the walk-through, and an in-person meeting is available where it is useful.
The audit itself is a written file, not a call. Each finding names the page, shows what I saw and says how to fix it, so your developer or I can work through the list in order without a meeting to decode it.

What an Audit Cannot Promise
No ranking guaranteed
An audit cannot promise a first-page position for any keyword, and anyone who says it can is selling something other than an audit. Google's SEO starter guide says there are no secrets that will automatically rank a site first.
What the audit can promise is that the findings are checked, written down and ranked, so the decision about what to fix is made on evidence.
