Bing Ads Management
A second channel, measured alone
Bing Ads Management runs from a Microsoft Advertising account you own. I check every import against your own data, tune it for the audience Microsoft actually reaches, and give you a written readout each month that you can check yourself.

Is Bing Ads Management Worth Running
Where a Bing budget goes
Most advertisers who run Google ads have never put a dollar into Bing, and the ones who have often copied the Google campaign across and forgotten it. The account sits there, spends a little each week, and nobody checks whether that spend reached a buyer who would have called.
The cause is usually neglect, not the channel. A campaign imported wholesale carries Google's keywords, bids and ad copy into an audience that searches differently and uses different devices. Without a written test, the report shows clicks, and clicks are the number the platform shows first.
Before any budget goes in, I write the result as one action a buyer takes, such as a call, a form or a booking. Then I check that the action can be tracked on the page the ad sends people to, before the first search runs.

Bing Ads Management Services
An account you own, run by me
I set up and run your Microsoft Advertising account under your business name. Your team gets admin access from day one, so the account, the UET tag and the audience lists stay with the business no matter who runs the day to day.
I handle the weekly work: keyword and match type review, negative keywords, ad copy testing, bid and budget settings, and the search terms report. You get the same view of the account that I use, so any number in my readout can be checked on the platform.
Most of the value sits in the search terms report. Each week I read the queries that actually triggered your ads, add the irrelevant ones to the negative list, and move the converting queries into their own ad groups with copy written for them. Over a few weeks the account stops paying for searches that were never going to become a call.

Importing a Google Ads Account
Copy the structure, then adjust
Microsoft Advertising can import a Google Ads account, and that saves setup time. It does not save the thinking. The import copies campaigns, ad groups, keywords and ads, but it does not know which of those words Bing users type, which bids make sense on their devices or whether the landing page still matches the ad.
So the import is the start of the work. I review every imported campaign before it spends, remove the keywords that do not fit the Bing audience, rewrite any ad copy that assumed a Google results page, and set separate budgets so the Bing results can be read on their own.
The import also carries the conversion setup only where it has been rebuilt. I check the tracking on the Bing side myself and never assume a Google conversion counts on Microsoft until a test action shows up in the platform.

Where Microsoft Ads Differs From Google
A different audience mix
Microsoft's search audience is not a smaller copy of Google's. The people searching on Bing reach it through different devices, browsers and default settings, and that mix shifts by business type. A keyword that converts well on Google can bring cheap clicks on Bing that never turn into calls.
The honest way to find out is to test the mix on your own account. I compare the Bing results to the Google results for the same terms, and I look at the devices, the hours and the search terms that actually produced the defined action, instead of assuming the audience matches the one you already know.
Microsoft Audience Network also places ads on partner sites. Those placements are reviewed in the readout, and any that do not produce the action are excluded, so the budget stays on search results a buyer would use.

Bing Ads Conversion Tracking
The UET tag and one number
The Universal Event Tracking tag, the UET tag, sits on your site and records the conversion you chose, such as a booked call, a form or a purchase. The conversion is defined before launch, so the platform optimizes toward the result you care about and not toward a click.
Where the site can send offline conversions, a call or booking that closes later can be imported back against the original click. That closes the gap between the ad and the record your team works from, and it is the step most accounts skip.
The number I report each month is cost per defined action, with the calls and forms from your own systems beside the platform count. On the GIOSTAR build, a website lead is tracked from the form to a booked consult to an active patient with no manual step, and the same discipline applies here.

What I do on the account
Most advertisers who hire me for Bing want one of these six jobs done well, and each one leaves a record you can open.
Account and tracking setup
A Microsoft Advertising account in your business name, the UET tag installed and tested, and the one action each campaign is measured against.
Import review
Every imported campaign checked before it spends, with the keywords, copy and landing pages adjusted for the Bing audience.
Negative keywords
A standing negative list built from the search terms report, so the budget stops paying for queries that never convert.
Weekly adjustment
Each week I pause the weak ad groups, move budget toward the ones producing the defined action, and log every change.
Device and hour review
Bids set against the devices and hours that produce calls and forms, with the rest reduced or excluded.
Monthly readout
One written page with cost per action, the calls and forms from your own systems, what changed and what comes next.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we ended up working with Justin for some AI consulting on how to structure our operations. He laid out a clear plan, didn't overcomplicate it, and we've been running smoother since. Good fit for a service business. He knows Las Vegas and he knows this stuff.

Justin joined our team a few months before opening to replace a marketing agency that wasn’t performing. He stepped up fast. Within weeks he launched a fully redesigned website with new brand guidelines, built and delivered our marketing plan and AI strategy, and helped implement our system architecture so we could open on time. Since then, he’s made several critical enhancements to the site that helped us generate revenue in our first month. His engagement was supposed to end at opening, but he became such an integral part of our leadership team that we kept him on to help evolve our marketing and tech strategy as we grow. He’s easy to work with, pushes back when it matters, and moves easily between strategy, delivery, and operations depending on what’s needed. If you’re looking for a deeply experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated marketing, AI, or technology consultant, I highly recommend Justin Harris AI Consulting.

After going back and forth on whether to bring in outside help, we reached out to Justin for some AI consulting advice on where our service business could actually use automation. He was straightforward about what made sense and what didn't. Ended up being a useful conversation. Las Vegas has no shortage of people claiming to be experts, and he's one of the few who could back it up.

He built out an AI automation setup for my website in Las Vegas and it changed how we handle leads completely. The guy actually runs this stuff himself, so he knows what works.

Best Bing Ads Management
Advertisers who run Google only
Bing suits an advertiser who already has a working Google account and wants a second, cheaper source of clicks. It also suits a business whose buyers skew toward desktop or older devices, which the search terms report will show quickly.
It is a weak first channel for a business with no search demand of its own. If nobody types the service into a search box, no account on any platform will fill it, and I say so before any setup.
Tell me which Google campaign performs best. That campaign is the one I would test on Bing first, because it already has the keywords and the offer that earned the result.
A business that sells the same service on both engines should expect the Bing account to be smaller. That is normal. The question the readout answers is whether the smaller account reaches the same defined action at an acceptable cost, and the answer is written each month.

How a Bing Ads Test Runs
Tracking first, then a small test
- Step 01
Define the action
Choose the one result that counts before spend starts, and write down the cost you can accept for it.
- Step 02
Install and test tracking
Confirm the UET tag fires on the page the ad sends people to, and that a test action appears in the platform.
- Step 03
Import and review
Bring over the best Google campaign, then remove, rewrite and rebudget before the first search runs.
- Step 04
Scale or stop
Budget moves only to ad groups that hit the agreed cost. Losing groups pause, and the reason is logged.
- Step 05
Report monthly
A written readout with cost per action, the calls and forms from your own systems, and the next test.
Bing Ads Management Cost
What moves the budget
Bing ads management pricing comes down to two separate lines. My work is a fixed price for a written scope, quoted after I look at your Google account, your offer and your tracking. The ad budget is what you choose to spend with Microsoft, and it is paid to the platform, not to me.
The scope changes the price, so these are the things I price for. You can judge any quote this way, mine included.

- How much of the Google account is imported and how much is rebuilt
- Number of campaigns and ad groups the first test needs
- Whether the landing pages need changes before the ads can convert
- Tracking already in place, versus UET and offline conversion setup from scratch
- Search terms review depth, weekly or monthly
- Reporting depth: a monthly readout, or a readout plus a call each week

Microsoft Ads Compared With Google
Who runs the account and who owns it
| Agency | Freelancer | Me | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who owns the ad account | Often the agency's Microsoft account | Sometimes the freelancer | Your business, with your admin access |
| Who does the work | A team you rarely meet | One person, varies widely | Me, from the import to the readout |
| What you can check | A deck of platform screenshots | Whatever the freelancer chooses to show | The same account view I use, plus your call and form counts |
| Google import | Often copied with no review | Copied, sometimes reviewed | Reviewed line by line before it spends |
| What happens at exit | Account access requested in writing | Depends on who holds the login | The account, tag and audiences stay with you |
What the Monthly Bing Readout Shows
One page I can defend
The readout is one written page in plain words. It shows the defined action, its cost, the calls and forms from your own systems beside the platform count, the search terms I excluded and why, and the test planned for next month.
You can check each line against the account I share with you. If a number does not match the platform, I write down why before the next report goes out. The readout also names what I did not do, in one line, so silence is never mistaken for a fix.

Who Owns the Microsoft Ad Account
The account stays with you
You are the owner of record. The Microsoft Advertising account, the UET tag and the audience lists are created under your business name, and your team gets admin access on day one.
If you stop working with me, the account stays where it is. I hand over the access list, the campaign notes and the tracking setup, so the next person can pick up the same account without starting over. Invoices are addressed to your business, and changes to the payment method go through your team.
Ownership also protects the Google side. The Google Ads account stays in your name and is read only for the import. Nothing copied across to Microsoft changes the Google account, so the channel you already run keeps running exactly as it did.

What I Need From You to Start
A short list, not a long brief
Start is four items, not a questionnaire.

- Access to the Google Ads account, read only, so the best campaign can be reviewed
- The one or two actions that matter most, such as a booked call or a form
- Access to the site, so the UET tag can be installed and tested
- One named person who can approve each ad before it goes live
